Once you prestige how do you make it so that you unlock ghost straight away? Or is this impossible?

You can redo the challenges for the weapon which allows for faster levelling up because you get all the xp again.

Btw, Hard point is a really fun mode and great for points I was getting at least 4000 per game last night.
You also feel like a b0ss jumping into a hard point killing a couple of guys and taking it over. (provided you have a good connection).

I'm jumping back on the AR bandwagon, they are great guns and I feel a lot better using ARs.
Hopefully by next year I'll have them all in shiny diamonds.
