Great defense. Curry didn't shoot well but he was contested on every shot, no open ones to let him get a rhythm, easier to hit a contested one after you've hit a few easy ones. Make a difference with Bogut back but then again Duncan will have a bigger role then.

Got the feeling that game reveals a big worry for the Spurs. How many times will Curry go 1-12 from 3 in a series?

3 times.

But how much of that was based on defence?

Above all these are two very good defensive teams, and the Spurs are having one of he best defensive seasons in history.

Yes Steph and Klay shot poorly, but you cant put that just dont to bad luck...the closesness of this result given that shooting, and the fact it was in SA, suggests warriors are still favourites for the west (and thus the title)... But you cant count out the Spurs or ignore what is also a historically great regular season, thus far.

How often does Timmy play 8 minutes? Kawhi go 5 for 14.

Playing the big 3 37 minutes on a back to back, 6 games in 9 days was potentially ill advised from Kerr tho

Point is it's a once off. Curry has horrific games like this once in a blue moon and recovers very easily.

Interdasting. I know they're plenty of variables but the Spurs got the win. Kept GSW under 80 points!

Just adds to the story, another two games to come aswell before the playoffs. Going to be a cracking series if they meet, which they surely will.

Anyone else reckon the East is getting interesting all of a sudden?

Six weeks ago it seemed like a fait accompli that the Cavs would roll everyone, but between the Raps, Hawks, Heat & Hornets there's a few in-form teams.
