I know it's pre season but.Jerseys & Guernseys both originate from the two sister Channel Islands of the same names. If you bought knitwear produced in Jersey it was called a jersey, if you bought knitwear produced in Guernsey it was called a guernsey. Thank **** their fellow Channel Island Sark's knitwear didn't prove so popular, or our players would possibly be wearing sarks.
