Camry Crows dump Vince but he's not broken

I'm talking about the end of last year not what happened a few years ago

And I just said that dumping Bernie mid way through a contract would have been unnecessary if you hadn't cheated.

Pretty simple.

Meanwhile Matt 'at least my brother's good' Crouch couldn't get a game ahead of the likes of Luke Brown, Jarryd Lyons, Brodie Martin and Matthew Jaensch

Never mind Crowies, at least you still have Triggy :thumbsu:

There is a vid of crouch softing out of a contest, (sorry I don't have the video), hence the excuse sun in eyes crouch

It might be this one where Crouch hears footsteps, pisses his pants and shies out of the contest.

Bit harsh on someone who hadn't even played an AFL game before

OP rates Vince higher then i do.

I'm happy to see him do well for Melbourne but he had stagnated massively for us, and right now, i'd rather M.Crouch. It was the classic Win/Win trade.

Chad Cornes/Dean Brogan Board

Chad I get, but I never understood this one. Brogan was never dropped from our side (missed a few games through injury, but he was never not played at AFL level when fit) and then retired of his own volition, only coming out of retirement when GWS threw a big chunk of super his way because they were desperate for players. Brogan was in no way mistreated by the club.

No different that Bernie- wasn't a part of our regular 22 and wasn't guaranteed games --> traded.

Only difference is both Chad and Dean "retired" even though they wanted to keep playing and were picked up for free.

Wouldn't say Brett Ebert has got the best treatment either as a favourite son.

Please explain?

Not the same as Chad but he existed on the fringe for almost his entire career. In and out of the team.
He was never good enough to play in the midfield (did not have the fitness) and therefore was stuck in the forward pocket.

How can that be viewed as not receiving good treatment from the club?

I'm not going to go through semantics arguing with you tealsters. The point is we traded Bernie because he was a fringe player for us for some young blood. This is no where near as bad as what you guys did to Chad- yet Marto has the audacity to say WE are the ones treating favourite sons like shit.

You are the one who made the statement about Ebert and now you can't back it up!

It's simple- Brett is the son of your favourite son (Russell) and because he was part of the Choco fitness scheme (i.e amateur hour) he never got a proper shot at the big time and spent half his career spudding it up in SANFL. Hardly the way to treat the son of one of your all time champions. Admittedly what you guys did to Chad was magnitudes worse but still what we did to Bernie was fine.
