Hi Guys,

Would the club let me cancel my membership? I pay $800 a season, and id rather spend that money on my kids... I pay direct debit so obviously i don't want my money back, but i don't want to pay monthly payments anymore. Been a member since 2004 and I'm over it really. Will support the club still but Ive supported the club through the tough times and my faith hasn't been repaid. Players don't care about the club that employ them so why should I?
Anyway Id rather be spending my money on my 2 kids that give me joy...

you can probably reduce your level of membership, or even call them and explain how you feel,

Come to my joint and microwave it instead.
do you guys not read posts?
mate 800 bucks is a lot of money for some people especially if they have kids,

you're a very ignorant person leave him alone....

seriously why should he keep paying if he is being dished up shit like that?

very rude , seriously who do you think you are?
Thankyou someone that understands. I bought my membership back when i was single and not married with kids. Only thing that kept me a member was hope seeing this team in a grand final. Now that i know it wont happen anytime soon id rather spend my money on more important things. some people here think the club comes ahead of family....

Thanks especially after my newborn priorities have changed... when my kids are older hopefully I can get a family membership.

mods please close this thread. ill ask the club tomorrow. some people on this board think the CFC is my no1 priority.
No one thinks or has said that. Obviously a sport shouldn't be anywhere near your first priorities. But don't not expect criticism for starting a thread not worthy of a thread. Especially a knee jerk one like this.

Maybe you should have waited a few weeks to see whether your club is any good before you bought your membership.

Or maybe you should stop carrying on like a sook and support your club through thick and thin.
How about the time i bought the membership was during the dark days to support the club. The club is no longer on my high priority list.

So did I. And I'm not backing away from it now.

The Carlton Football Club is bigger than any one player, any playing list or any one performance.

Have some perspective and sleep on it.

sensible answer is call membership in the morning
non sensible answer is ask to pull on a jumper and stand the line yourself
If you think this is our darkest hour you are wrong. Kreuzer cup bring back memories?
