Half tempted to go for big Stef against the Giants non-existent ruck division. Not too worried about McInerney affecting his scoring.

But let's be honest, I'll more than likely be boring again and go for Titch down in Tassie.

I've stuck with Titch and have been burned the last 2 weeks. No doubt he'll bounce back, but I'm going a safer choice in Gawn this week.

Also, The Joker I don't recommend going Buddy this week. ;)

Hahaha thanks for the tip, I have now traded him out so he doesnt somehow fool me into doing it :moustache:

I did have it on Laird for a bit there, he could go big at home to GC. Macrae has a nice record against Carlton and then there is Gawn. It will be one of those three for me this week!

Danger, Titch or Cogs? I am struggling to split them

Aren't we all! At least you have all three :)

I have Titch and Coniglio, and will be going Titch.

If I had Danger I would probably go him 2nd given he is at KP against a weakened Swans. I'll certainly have him VC/C in Supercoach.

Same for me, tossing up between Gawn or Stef Martin who both should do well. I'm worried the short turnaround for Gawn may impact his around the ground performance so leaning toward Stef for now

Calvin's captains

Stephen Coniglio - With a low score this year of 112, Coniglio joins Scott Pendlebury as only two people to score 100+ in every game. He scored 127 on Brisbane last time he met them and should give these guys a lesson back at home.

Dustin Martin - Collingwood give up the most points to opposition midfielders and despite scoring just 73 last week, he goes for his sixth 100+ score against the Magpies in his last seven games.

Tom Mitchell - A tagged pig isn’t what we want and after two weeks of below par scores, he will be tagged again in Tassie by either Seb Ross or Luke Dunstan. Mitchell scored 125 on the Saints last year and still should be good at a ground he averaged 130 at in 2018.

Patrick Dangerfield - Despite sitting forward last week against the Power, Dangerfield still scored 109 and loves playing the Swans, a team he scored 140 and 139 on last year.

Jack Macrae - After being tagged last week to his lowest score of 99 for the year, Macrae will be running free and has scored 123, 101, 109 and 113 against the Blues in his last four games.

I remember the small chatter over Stef getting captaincy against Port a few weeks back and someone pulling the ballsy trigger and actually doing it. Makes me want to grow a pair and put it on Stef this week over guys like Titch/Cogs/Gawn. Question is though, do I have big balls? :moustache:

How does he gather thay Macrae will run free? He has Curnow written all over him

That was probably Me you mean who got stef's 177 as Capt. Recent scores by rucks against GWS are all above 90, usually with Dawson Simpson as main ruck. Sinclair got 123 with 45 hitouts a few weeks ago against Patton and Lobb, so I think stef should go alright.

Yeah it was you, you bastard with the huge balls. Mass respect. Might take a leaf out of your book even though I feel Cogs is a no brainer but also yolo

I've got Titch, Danger, Cogs, and, as a smokey, Cripps (against the Dogs) to consider...

I'm a bit concerned about the continuing tag on Titch, and Danger being forward so much (although, can the Swans cover him?), which leaves the other two, both with seemingly good match-ups.

No. Been playing as a ball winning mid, and been killing it. Hence why he’s a very relevant fantasy option this year. 120 average so far
Cool, will likely trade in Macrae this week. Is a captain option if this is the case, although Cogs and Stef are my likely choices

Screw it, I'm putting the C on Stef. Locked and loaded.

Now sit back and watch him score 70 while Titch and Cogs go massive :drunk:

Not sure how Oscar mcinerney in might impact things though, so it is a risk

Definitely a concern. Everything I've read (although admittedly nothing overly reliable) says McInerney is likely to mostly play forward. If it was Archie Smith I wouldn't go near Stef but I'm going to take the punt that McInerney won't affect his scoring. It's a make or break call! I'll revisit it after the game on Saturday with either a smile or egg on my face.

I've got to take some risks to get into the top 100, even if he chucks out an 80 I'm no worse off than having titch captain the last 2 weeks
