On Talking Footy Wayne put a case that LOLDNorf should tank their game against the Hawks by resting their aged, sore and weary players.

Wayne believed the combination of two consecutive six day breaks and the cold Friday night air could kill some of the older Norf players and wouldn't help sore players like Big Nick Dal Santo.

And of course Wayne did not mention that even a full strength Norf has as much chance of beating the Hawks as he does of getting a reach around from Anthony Stevens or being asked by the Bont to help promote White Ribbon events.

Seemed to work for them when they won a finals game last year.

Maybe Wayne could play CHF if Petrie needs a mid season hip replacement.

Carey is only 45, well within Norfs target age profile. That way Petrie can come back fresh for finals.

Actually the royal rooter is correct in this case.
North can give hawthorn a friday night walkover as they play krows on the next thusday after 6 day break.
