Carlton above Saints on the ladder

If you ever needed evidence of how far Carlton have sank as a club, look no further than this thread.

That is gold Jeff. You draw a link between the Carlton football club and half a dozen teenage supporters on a forum??

Did Pratt or Bradles start this thread under the guise of a junior supporter?

IS ODN really sticks??

Wake up and grow up.

BTW - Your club is a RABBLE

Finish with the crying yet, Jeff?

You seem to be able to dish it out, but you can't take it. What a surprise!

Funnily enough, I was called Sticks as a kid by my older step brother as I was pretty lean back then ... so technically, yes I am. ;)

Gee mate sounds like you can dish it out and but can't handle it yourself.

I can't handle what?

Carlton supporters laughing at us because we've become as crap as you?

Ok . . . if it makes you feel better.

TBH, I knew at some point we'd meet up at a similar position on the ladder. However, I thought it you'd catch up before we fell back.

Lucky for me you're still crap hey? :D

Please expand?

We are a rabble atm but Carlton supporters are happy they are a bee's dick ahead of us . . . in 13th place.

Then I suppose most clubs have sunk that far then.

Hang on....don't you guys have 2 #1 draft picks? Which would make it the same as us?

I was responding to what I assumed to be a Richmond supporter. The gist of my message was that they (Richmond) were virtually guaranteed the #1 draft pick THIS YEAR because in my humble opinion they (Richmond) will finish last THIS YEAR.

Hope this helps.

AAhh soz, hmm i dunno wooden spoon is still up for grabs between anyone from brisbane, freo, st kilda, carlton, melb and richmond.

I'd add port but i don't think two of the teams above will reach 6 wins.

Fair enough. Logically the Saints should win a few more and finish a few spots in front of us still this year. Carlton are probably where they should be with a target of about 8 wins for the year, whereas the Saints are significantly behind all expectations.

The role reversal is always on the cards both on field and on the boards I guess. Nature of the beast. I do think the Saints have a couple of years of finals to come given a full list to choose from and Carlton may join them for a season or so of those years. The BF rivalry will be interesting then I think.

It's all good :)

I reckon the Tiges are a shoe-in. They wont even win a game. Unless they get another draw which will give em 4 points :D

Really? I seriously don't think Richmond is that bad. What is interesting this season is how "close" the competition is.

It may not seem so from the ladder, but Melb have had a bad run so have st kilda. Richmond, carlton are rebuilding....

Then there's brisbane, freo (flag favourites) and port...

Understatement of the day. :D

In all honesty ODN, I can't see us winning too many playing the way we are atm. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm seeing some signs that don't fill me with too much confidence.

I wish I could say I was looking forward to it with any confidence.

There is one upside though . . . you might get Barry Zuc QC back. :D

The real irony in this thread are the posters that have for years dismissed us whipping their arse because we didn't win the flag.

How does it go . . . "if you don't finish top you may as well finish bottom" - or something like that.

I'm going with that line now. :)

Yeah but often we do finish on top... and often you do finish at the bottom...:thumbsu:
