I reckon Carlton should be ****ting its breechs. Quote from AGE article re: Spider leaving the Saints, also had this:
"Should Carlton be found guilty of deliberate salary cap breaches, it would not only lose second- and third-round picks for which it is currently under a suspended sentence from the AFL, but would also be expected to receive the extra punishment for deliberate cheating.
Both Richmond and St Kilda have already taken the Blues' investigation on notice and have changed their approach to this year's draft on the basis of increasing speculation that Carlton will be punished."
My question is, what happens to the priority pick.? Do they keep that, or does it just disapear? Obviously it doesnt go to the Saints, cos its a special deal for Carlton being crap.
I vote for it disapearing! pick 4 will give us anyone in the draft we want that isnt Goddard, Wells and Salopek (who will be gone). Plus our 2nd round pick will be pick 19, cos Carlton will loose 2nd and 3rd rounds (suspended from last breach) as well. HA!
