And even more proof why carlton fans are the scum of the AFL.

They are telling us we need to consider doing something to get some high draft picks. This is of course because all clubs need spend 6 years in the bottom 2 to have ANY chance at all of building a successful team. You see, stockpiling #1 picks is the only thing to do. It's impossible to draft good players if they're not number 1. See Andrew Walker and Jordan Russell for example.

Hello! Our list is better than yours, more promising, yet you're telling us we need to do this and do that. LOL, you have to love their arrogance. :)

Yeah, no pick is good enough unless its number 1.

Reimers at pick 47 has just blown that out of the water and that is only 1 example.

The only way to be successful is to bend over, lose all credibility, shove 3 wooden spoons up your arse and get 3 number 1 picks. Thats the only way to get back up.

I can't wait for carltank to produce a book on 'how to tank and be successful'. It will be a best seller. lol.

You have to laugh at how weak their team will be.

Jamison, Bower, Hartlett, Austin will be their key talls.

Gee I wonder if you'd rather have Ryder, Gumbleton, Neagle and Pears.

Tough choice.

Thats right, apart from the obvious stars they have, they haven't got much else.

I think all they can see in their heads is NUMBER 1 PICKS :D

Unfortunately your Carlton hatred doesn't allow you to see anything.
You got one right on your list there.
Pears ? after about 5 games you can say he will be your future ?
Gumbleton ? knee injuries will ruin his chances.
Neagle ? You really think he will be a key tall instead of an onballer or flanker ?
Ryder, yep a great prospect as a key tall.

Jamieson has been rated by people in the media. You wouldn't know.
Bower has played some great games this year until he injured his shoulder.
Carlton have not bled as many goals or lost by 100 points this year. These two have played plenty of games this year so I imagine they may have something to do with the improvement.

Wow, one is rated and one is injured.

Pears, too early to tell, but i'll take him over Austin any day.

Gumbleton, pick #2 in the superdraft. Will be outstanding. But you show you have absolutely no idea when you talk about his knee injuries. He's had one knee iinjury in his career from a collision in training and recovered from that well over a month ago. You. Have. No. Clue. :thumbsu:

Neagle on baller? HAHAHAAH Oh dear. The guy is a pure Full-Forward with pretty much the same height and build as Fevola and he's also one of the fastest in our club over 20m. Is lightning fast off the lead. He managed to embarrass Jamison when we played you guys despite being nowhere near fully fit. You. Have. No. Clue. :thumbsu:

Serious question?

Gumbleton, Neagle, Pears and Ryder vs Bower, Austin, Hartlett. Jamison.

Which would you rather have? :)

ha what a wankfest, finished boys? :)

That's the sad thing about Carlton supporters. I'd be devastated and ashamed to know my club didn't try to win for whatever reason no matter what their position and outlook. It makes eventual success that much sweeter and taint free.

You seem to think that because I won't lie and say I'm sorry we did it, that somehow means I'm fully supportive of it and am some joke of a supporter cheering for failure by round 6. I was devastated (and ashamed I guess) and didn't believe it was happening at first. I just won't kid myself as you continue to do. You accuse me of spin, but no matter how you spin those numbers you can't honestly tell me Essendon would have benefited to the same extent that Carlton did. I know you'll try ;)

As it stands I'm not sure what would be worse, tanking for all those years to eventually win a tainted flag or tanking all those years and eventually winning nothing.. probably the latter I guess.

I'll let you know when we win a flag

Oooh right I get it now, all those writers and commentators were just wrong, turns out we weren't the worst team since Fitzroy, we just weren't trying! Thanks for steering me right guys..

Didn't you classify Neagle as a future key tall ? You. Have. No. Clue. :thumbsu:
On Gumbleton I apologise, I was thinking Courtney Johns.

Ryder is the best.
Jamison is a lot better than you think.
Bower, not sure of but should be good.
Neagle, can't tell yet as he has just started but may be a gun.

Can't tell yet with Neagle? Well he is a full forward but i guess you haven't seen enough of him. I would of thought watching him dismantle your mob last time would of convinced you.

Stop embarrassing yourself with your lack of knowledge.

Neagle can only play one position. FULL FORWARD. He is the exact same type of player as Brendan Fevola.

Where on earth did you get the idea that he'll be an onballer? Explain yourself you clueless twit.

You think this only because it is you who can't see past No.1 picks. In time the other young guys will come to be more well known to those who only have peripheral knowledge and this misconception, shared by many, will evaporate, along with the all the other ignorant rubbish people post about the Blues list.

You mean like all the ignorant rubbish about Essendon's list because WE haven't got any number 1 picks ourselves?

Hahahahahahaha, oh dear.
You were the one who asked who I'd rather have when talking about key talls and you placed Neagle in your list of comparisons.
Perhaps Neagle will be so good he will kick out from Full back to his own lead at Centre half Forward, boot the ball 80 metres and take a speccy from his own kick in the 50 metre arc.:eek::rolleyes:

Can you please explain what on earth you are talking about?

I named Neagle as part of 4 players who will make up our spine in the future.

He is a Full Forward.

You said he is an onballer or flanker. How is he an onballer?

Sheez, I think I need to wake up and not post after doing overtime from 10pm-3am last night.
Could have sworn I saw the word defenders but nup I was wrong.:eek:
Jamieson is going to be a solid backman & I can see Bower becoming pretty good.
Ryder backs his judgement & will be a beauty.
Gumbleton, who knows. Easy for you to say he will be a star but he hasn't had a chance to do much since injuring himself in round 12.
Neagle, well he will probably get compared to Lloyd because that is what people unfortunately do & he won't be as good as him.

It is way too early to say how good Neagle will be. If he is only a Full Forward then he will need to be very good otherwise he will be too one dimensional.
Really comparisons between young footballers is dangerous as there are plenty of players who don't live up to expectations & plenty that exceed them.

Yes, but as it is at the moment, our talls look more promising than your talls. While your midfield looks more promising than ours.

However, being able to find quality players such as Davey, Houli, Reimers, Lonergan and Hocking all 3rd rounders or later in the draft would suggest that we have a more rounded list with greater depth than carlton.

Who's kidding themselves?

You, my friend, are a very curious little person indeed. ;)

You do that champ.

I can't see past those picks because there is nothing to see.

If they were there to see monkey, trust me i would see them.

Dude, what about Stephen Browne? He's got more talent and upside than anyone at Essendon according to TheGeneral.:eek::eek:

Apparently i read by another carlton supporter that Fisher is a better mark than anyone on our list.
The future is bright at ****ter park.;)

Essendon having a good run atm,and you and your girlfriend GuzzLG,are strutting around with puffy chests quoting some unusual stats.
Is it a co-incidence you bring this up after beating the Blues twice this year?
Why would we want to smack teams when we were tanking?
You're still below us on the ladder!!

P.s: Who is better than Fisher in your side....Reimers?????
