This is of course because all clubs need spend 6 years in the bottom 2 to have ANY chance at all of building a successful team. You see, stockpiling #1 picks is the only thing to do. Yes, but as it is at the moment, our talls look more promising than your talls. While your midfield looks more promising than ours.

However, being able to find quality players such as Davey, Houli, Reimers, Lonergan and Hocking all 3rd rounders or later in the draft would suggest that we have a more rounded list with greater depth than carlton.
