What about the other two? You said he hadn't done anything and yet there he is taking a fantastic mark, and in another kicking multiple goals against a Premiership captain.

One mark and two goals. Wow. Stop the press. The dud actually was seen taking a mark and getting a kick in a game. Care to show me any games where he's actually had a significant effect on the game? That's what I'm talking about.
And you won't be able to, because he has never influenced one game that he has played.
Had 10 disposals, 8 marks and a goal in his second game against the Bulldogs and similar games against Melbourne and the Kangaroos.
Had a 11 disposal, 8 mark and two goal game against Essendon, and kicked another two against Geelong.
Had a 15 disposal, 7 marks, 7 hitout game against Brisbane.
Good stats for a young CHF.
You claimed that Mitch Clarke has shown far more yet he's had one good game against Collingwood where he bagged five goals and almost nothing in any other games. And I'm certain he's had double the game time Kennedy got under Pagan.

Mitch Clarke has actually looked impressive. He kicked 5 goals against us in a dominant performance.
Has Kennedy even looked dominant? No. Has he ever really influenced a game? No.
Keep it up, if it helps you sleep at night, but really, you know as well as I do, that you stuffed up majorly by taking Kennedy before Pendlebury (hahahahahahha there, try and argue Kennedy is or will be better than Pendlebury), Ryder, Mitch Clarke and Higgins, all players who are and will be infinitely better than Kennedy.

the thing is i would like kennedy to stay at carlton. he is gonna mature to a be a good footballer but his heart is in the west he wants to go home. this time next year eagles will be saying " god we r glad we got josh" ( after he wins the fairest and best there)

I think anyone but the stubborn, arrogant carlton supporters would.
This is exactly why Carlton have been so bad lately. They have not lost their arrogance. Heads should have rolled at Carlton after Kennedy was taken at 4. A complete and utter waste of a pick. But no, instead of carlton people demanding answers from their recruiting staff, they try and defend the player and make him out to be something that he isn't.
An open and honest review of the whole football club, without stubborness and arrogance getting in the way, is what is required at Carlton.

Kennedy is barely 20 years old.
Josh Fraser has been in the game for years and he is still the biggest dud taken at #1 ever

Also .... I see Kennedy play, sure he has good hands, sure he is huge .. but what else? What really justifies him being taken at #4, Clark on the other hand, good hands, pretty huge himself, but he also has pace for someone as big as he is ...

Bushranger I suspect you ahve actually never or very rarely seen Kennedy play. If you had you would have seen some very good games from a Kid who only played about half of most games. And you say at least the others have shown glimpses, yet when we show you glimpses here thats not good enough for you. it does seem pointless to try and discuss football with someone who has no ablility to appreciate players from other clubs or be willing to accept some opinions from Supporters of other clubs that actually have a very good idea of how a player goes.

Cloke missed his first pre-season because of extensive dental work and then missed all of his 2nd pre-season with facial surgury to fully fix the problem, 2007 was his first full pre-season
Ahh ok, like I said, im not 100%, it is just what I read on a collingwood website, so yer.
In any case, I rate Kennedy and think that he will be one of the best CHF in a few years, but at this time, Cloke is more advanced than him, I also don't think he will be as good as Cloke will be, but only time will tell if thats right.
Edit:/ Appears I was right, cheers jonesy. Therefore at this stage you would have to say that Cloke is much more advanced than Kennedy.
His done more than any of your draftees from that year.

Gardiner > Fraser.
If not for injuries, Gardiner would still be one of the game's very best ruckmen, regardless of off-field behaviour.

doesn't matter what he's done at carlton........west coast and carlton can swap their entire lists, and west coast will still be a better football team. that's the business they're in.........i don't know what Carlton do these days.
