Feels like every second time I watch it, there’s never any mention of the Carlton game. Am I the only one that’s noticed this?

They almost never mention Thursday night games on the SFS to be fair, haven't for years. At that stage in the news cycle, we are no longer relevant because we've already had mentions throughout the Friday and Saturday night broadcasts.
Bit disappointing but I don't even wake up for it if we've played Thursday, might get a 1 minute mention if you're lucky.

Thursday game’s always usually get only a quick mention right towards the end of the program, considering it’s a footy show, it should be priority instead of the stoopid crap talk…

Playing first up on Thurs - you just dominate the news cycle in the lead up and then on Friday also. It's a huge advantage from a media exposure point of view (which in theory translates into memberships).
No doubt the Thursday/Friday game teams do get quite a lot of exposure throughout different media platforms, that a given, for the only AFL show we have on a Sunday that has the opportunity to cover the games played ( which is only 6) you would think that they would have the courtesy of at least a solid 5 minutes summary of at least every game, no matter what day they were played on…
For the record i think it’s a very average show to what it once was a long time ago…

Basically says the had a little nibble at him and we quickly reacted by signing him up.
Then it turns into a puff piece about how good Charlie is. The fact he's so good that Geelong in particular were willing to splash $1m a year over 6 years, which is very much against their recruitment history, shows just how good he is.

Kingy and Montagna did their rolling best 5 players based on output so far, Montagna didn't have Charlie in the top 5, strange

Of those 3 I find King is the superior analyst.
I'm not biased, but anyone who has us winning the premiership is the superior analyst.
I know it’s heavily stats based, but this weekly segment is one of the better analytical breakdowns of how clubs are travelling

TBF he was BOG for mine.
BOG in a side that was thoroughly outplayed across the board. The only reason it wasn't a 5-6 goal loss was Cameron.
Deserves his praises.
Couldn't give a shit if the best player on the park is from the opposition, when we are winning
