Actually StKilda had Ballarat which pardon the pun was a goldmine of talent.
They didn't know what to do with it because thier club is steeped in failure.
Hawthorn got a pretty good area & I would assume Collingwood got a good area seeing the calibre of players you got.
It is just that your club turned a great recruiting zone and talented players into a bunch of gutless chokers who lost 7 flags and won NONE
I believe we should give Geelong a further 2 flags.
Stip two WCE flags because of the blatant steroid abuse that turned skinny runts into muscle men within one year.
Give the Swans the 2006 flag because of the blatant recreational drug taking.
That leaves WCE with ummmmmmmm, no flags

Talking of zonings StKilda shouldve had dunstall, brereton, and half of the great hawks team ... changed zones in 1981 or something around that time, giving us crap! Anyway thats VFL whIch is done and dusted.

why not a rematch? SOS will kill god again!It is widely known that carlton cheated in 90s. Not saying other teams didnt do things here and there but carlton took the piss and crossed every line.
On top of this Rapings were put under the carpet, threats to oppostion players from "carlton crew" and god knows what else im guessing drugs etc.
AFL should make a stand and give the flag to its rightful owner Geelong.
Dont do what rugby did and take the flag off the table thats stupid! geelong deserved it. Give it to Geelong!

1993 is not included in Essendon's penalties.
Which logic would dictate. Madden and T. Daniher, a Norm Smith Medalist and a dual premiership captain respectively, had retired the year before, when there was a breach. The '93 flag was won by few older players and essentially a bunch of kids, hence the Baby Bombers. Naturally winning a premiership was going to bump up their paychecks, so the breach resumed for several years until Watson, Thompson, Harvey, and Salmon were all gone.
I'm not defending the breach, it was wrong, but the breach was recorded as 92; 94-96. We didn't win a flag with a rorted cap, as much as people would like to believe we did.

Fact is that StFailure had Ballarat. This region had plenty of good footballers, it's just your plainly pathetic culture killed these players as stars and turned them into nightclub rootrats instead of footballers.
