Yes and no, I expect the Bengals to tag and trade him, Bengals would probably ask for our first pick of the second round for him.Tee Higgins is a FA, no?
I absolutely love him, but Thomas isn't getting to us, no chance. Franklin so skinny, concerns me. Worthy would be fine with me.Gimme one of Brian Thomas Jr, Troy Franklin or Xavier Worthy at pick 33.
Yeah no thank you. His highlight plays are incredible, but he was pretty disappointing this year tbh.what are your thoughts on Coleman EFL Boy ? Seems very polarising, not really a very good route runner but jeez hes a specimen and can make some unbelievable catches.
Yeah, thats fair. On reflection I think we should be looking at guys who can seperate first and foremost.Yeah no thank you. His highlight plays are incredible, but he was pretty disappointing this year tbh.
When I look at him I immediately see/think Kelvin Benjamin.
Yep, wouldn’t be opposed to that if so, it’s a pretty bloody deep receiver class, and top of the third is a good spot. Just a few names if that’s the route we go:Have seen a few mocks where we take OL instead EFL Boy , im fine with that but we must address WR in round 3 if thats the case and in FA. What are your thoughts on round 3+ WRs? Anyone who might be available there you like?
Yep, I like Canales, he brings such a great energy. Seems like an awesome coach to be play for, you can tell hes very much cares about his staff and players, he'll give it his all and hes isn't scared of a challenge (wanted the Bucs job when many weren't interested) . The issue remains the same .....My first reaction is positive.
Giving Tepper the benefit of the doubt. It's the third coach he's hired but a different one. Rhule comes across to me as a college specialist, and Tepper was hoping he'd make a s**t hot decision that would elevate him in the NFL community. Reich, I think, can succeed as a HC, but maybe Carolina was the wrong fit, but he's otherwise a second banana.
Canales is green but is a new up and coming generation coach. A distinctly different background to our last two.
The fantasy of Vrabel is gone. But let's face it, a mofo like him is not coming here to rebuild a shitshow. He's here to win now. If we're lucky, in four years, we might get smashed in a SB by a team coached by him.
Tepper might learn by 2040 if we are lucky that he should leave the coach alone to coach and the GM/scouting department alone to draft.
He'll need to start offering 10+ year deals soon the way hes going thru coaches.Six year contract....Tepper doesnt learn, or all these coaches are showing him up as a fool. If Canales doesnt work out, say...again because Tepper interferes....thats yet another coach he has to pay to not work in Carolina. That would be three coaches still being paid out tens of millions each year.
ie, Canales is smart to insist on a 6 year deal because if he thinks he could get shafted by Tepper after a couple years, he'll get paid for four more years
Even Belichick is getting 68k a day (or week) just to stop coaching New England. Filthy rich in our language.I want one of those coaching contracts!
Yeah if you keep firing coaches 2 years into say a 5 year deal, then future coaches are gonna be wary and need that guarantee to come coach. Especially when theyre told theyll be micromanaged. Theyre smart, they know theyre being railroaded so get the guarantee, protect their own asses, but at the same time it'll just keep getting worse for Tepper if he keeps firing them....like Al Davis, like Haslam pre-Stefanski.He'll need to start offering 10+ year deals soon the way hes going thru coaches.
