It was an enjoyable game if you were a Cats supporter, but a bit of a training run by the end. I loved how the cats were so clinical in the first half and how they responded when the Suns had a crack in the third. Minor Premiers for 2022.

Good win. Topped off with some comedy gold when Stanley went off.

Watch the footage. Physio runs out and says come off to make it look legit. Fox cameras clearly showed Stanley wasn’t injured in the lead up, or in his final ruck contest.

Fast forward 10 mins. Stanley and the physio trying not to laugh as his “injury” is strapped up. Stanley looks up at the screen and can be seen saying “hey I think we’re on” ….. then puts on the serious look.

Funny stuff.

2 goals and 28 disposals @ 50% DE.

Tim Kelly numbers.
Team low for DE% (48.9), team high for clangers (5), team high for turnovers (8).
This is shit we lambaste Dangerfield in finals for. But we expect things from Patrick, not merely being a B/C Grade mid.

Good win although the team can be unselfish to a fault with a lot of funny buggers in the F50. Not much of a complaint but good teams will sweep it out and turn it into a rebound I50.

Nevertheless, pleasing all round. Loving Miers kicking goals again and the developing stardom of Holmes.

Strange to sub Stanley off at 1/2 time. But I like it as a strategic move. It had two purposes:

1) Keep Stanley fresh and uninjured

2) With nobody left to oppose Witts in the ruck, it was a good opportunity to see what would happen if the likes of Gawn or Grundy start monstering everyone and winning every hitout. Can the midfield team cope? It would seem so.

O'Connor I thought was pretty lively when he came on.

Is Jeremy Cameron the best celebrator of his teammates' accomplishments ? :)

He’ll be a very good sub.

Not a cracker had us finishing Top of ladder with 17 wins.

No one.

Just an amazing turn around from the coaches players and club.

Truly remarkable actually.

The fitness staff must be commended for their work. We are running out games and have the ability to run in speed bursts over and over.

Quality work

No injuries and got the 4 points the best outcome here.

Fresh BLitz, PFD and Selwood were clearly better.

Holmes has arrived. Stanley maybe tore a nail.

Stengle a gun. yup...said it.

A few players down on normal output but still getting home by 60 in a dead rubber hard to be critical.

On to next week

And the most important thing..

Zuthreo gets a win in his 50th

GO Catters

I thought we were going to do it with 22 wins...😎

Not quite sure on the no injuries though - want to see how things go with Rohan during the week, and I could see him missing next week

And wonder if there's some underlying concerned with Stanley, and that maybe not so much acute injuries which have seen him subbed out over recent weeks, but instead it's something they're monitoring/managing him through
