Oh wow yeah mine still looks young and I think she just turned 2. My cat just picks on the old family cat, the old family cat doesn't wanna put up with her shit haha

Think I have a video of my cat play fighting with my dog, those battles are some of the funniest things you will see

Haha yes, we have a chocolate lab and the older cat fights with him. My lab is actually scared of my older cat. But Cleo loves Cooper (choc lab). She is always grooming him haha.

Woke this morning and marlo was not normal, he refused to move Asif his back legs were not functional. Then he threw up a few times.

He kind of got better as the day went on but he kept going to the litter tray and doing nothing.

We called the vet who said rush him in, he has stones in his urinary tract, need urgent operation, full bladder, hours from death

So we wait

He's in theatre now, won't know result til we go in on Monday... His heart rate is so elevated the anaesthesia is a 50/50 chance of..you know

We just walked in the door with him now!

He spent 3 days with a catheter in trying to flush out all the crystals .

Get said his breed is susceptible, need to change to a urinary specific diet.

But he's alive! And on the couch licking his wounds. Been cage bound for a few days so just happy to be home I Think

$1250, not to hurty for us too

Oh good, I was worried about him. My little man Leo is on a urinary specific diet as well as he's had a lot of urinary problems. Since being on Hills CD he's been so much better though. Wet food is better as well but I'm sure your vet told you.

Super happy he is on the mend! And that's pretty good for a couple of days stay in a vet!

My cat was so high after spending a week in the vet a couple of years ago, when we got him home he was just rolling around on the floor haha. Also was super loving which was out of character! Went back to his grumpy self the next day though :p

I got Tes (Tesla) for daughter #2 when she moved with me to Wagga Wagga. At the time her and daughter #1 were involved in an esoteric internet debate on Tesla versus Edison, probably started by looking at oatmeal comics. We named the cat after Tesla and I also picked it as my BF name. I am getting tired of Telsa and wish I had given my BF name a little more thought. Tes is the dumbest cat I have ever known so Tesla kind of fits her in a facetious way.

To a certain extent, I was quite lucky with my previous cat and it's health issues. I didn't have to deal with this type of stuff, which frankly sounds unbearable. Mine one was just running around, going through it's usual routine, and then jumped onto my lap and died. Cardiac arrest I assume. Sucks, but there wasn't any pain for her, or surgery or need to change it's habits.

I've never owned a cat due to allergies so this nature documentary is where I get most of my cat information from.
 
Clear evidence that my daughter's cat has been chewing my charging lead. Oh well, what's a few bucks. Too cute.
