He's a waste of oxygen.

A lot of sliding doors in this one. What if she hadn’t been asked to escort him out, what if he’d been jailed for repeatedly breaching the interim order, what if they hadn’t posted the relationship photo on Instagram etc.

Plenty if opportunity for reflection but Sako is to blame for it all. Nothing is bad enough for him - hope he is slammed at sentencing.

Family say they’re seething but it’s par for the course.

He’ll be in his sixties before eligible for parole if he lasts that long.

I'd argue it's a long way short of justice, but that's just my opinion.

He took someone's life in a deliberate, premeditated stabbing, after prolonged stalking. I'm not a fan of a lot of American society, but when they sentence someone to 100+ years in murder cases, I'm a fan.

There's no rehabilitation from this. He should never hear the breeze through the trees or feel the sun outside prison walls again.

In reality though he will probably be in his late 60s/early 70s before hes released if he even lives that long..so its not much off a life sentence in real terms

I understand that context, but I'm not sure Celeste Manno's family and friends who are now deprived of her for the rest of both theirs and her life would agree?

If he makes it to 70, or 75, or 85, I'd rather he did it breathing prison air. But that's just me.

I'd rather he was executed but unfortunately that's not an option in this country. 36 years is a big sentence for one murder.

I’m actually surprised there weren’t a few more factual revelations - there isn’t a whole lot that wasn’t in the public domain in it.

It’s a sad reminder to be careful about what gets put online. Appears he figured out which house was hers by comparing Instagram photos with online property listings (and then obviously was set off by the photo of her with her partner). Far from Celeste’s fault - there are just some truly unbelievable people out there.

Would be very content for him to never take another step as a free man.
