No story there. he gave away a 50/50 free kick, and said to the umpire f#%k , what was that for? .... the umpire sent him off for swearing

If he said it loud enough for the crowd to hear it than the umpire has to send him off. I got sent off for it a while ago....

Nothing in the send off I think it was for back chatting. He had a few big crashes into Butts, one in particular before he was sent off of which both Butts and shep were down for a wile. I think shep did his right quad before the game in the warm up. He said he prob shouldn't have played, I think him and robbo had words before the game and he made the big guy take the field. He was still getting 50m on his left boot on the kick outs. I don't think he will play the rest of the home and away. They will nurse him into finals. If they lose another big man they are stuffed. Newton and Uhi are massive holes in this side. They lack harness and big bodies. I suspect Raaky will play in the finals just to contest in the ruck at the start of quarters if anything and just to give the others confidence.

Oh yeah young Josh Carmen for Daylesford also X-Hepburn is Ok after his nose was splatted all over his face by a player I will not names knee in the 2's. This incident caused another freak facial injury. Josh is a tough boy and will bounce back from this. Injuries will occur in footy if you cant Handel this don't play. If you do get hurt then get yourself rite, get back out there and get your own back. One of the most beautiful words in footy is redemption.

Loved strolling down to the Hep general store for the morning coffee and the paper this morning.

Lot of people bagged Timmy for recruiting Uhi last year but his first quarter in the G/F last year was huge. Sammy Newton and Manno also hard to replace.

The words spoken between Robbo and Shep were the opposite to what you think. Shep wanted to play regardless. Raaky could play against the Bulldogs in the finals as I don't think we have anyone else at this stage to limit Ox's dominance in the middle.

Will have to have a word to Glenn about letting you in the store Ferrit obviously he is hard up for a $..

Does the run in with hepburn and dunstown ring a bell anyone come on people you r throwing words around like you have nothing behind yourself when in fact you are all the same if not worse when it comes to this quote
understand the consequences of their violent and unnecessary actions? How a small brawl and one punch can lead to serious injury and even death?
HELLO DING DONG oh opps and i should know i witness that day and i can say hepburn you havnt earned your respect back yet Guess what all that you say about the bulldogs r infact hepburn more than a few yrs ago so take a good hard look at urselfs look what you showed your up coming junior players that year cos now there in ur so called senior team and r doing exactly what you showed them that day it works both ways so i can say this all clubs have there faults all clubs have there good and bad players but as clubs you deal with that as a club but all i have seen is that hepburn your too busy picking on the bulldogs you forgot about all your faults and all your moments in the spotlight of disgracefulness

and as too distroying pub windows didnt one of you kick your own change room doors down to get to dunstown all those yrs ago????? it works both ways and i think its time you get over it!!!

oh and to nev sorry to hear what had happened but from what i seen it was football buddy and theses things can happen to the best of players learn from it , makes u stronger as a player???
oh and dont forget a smiliar thing happened 2 yrs ago in the finals against hepburn and daylesford where a player was punched by one of u hepburn players split his chin open and put his teeth thru his tongue now he took it in and did not put up a tantrum over it cos its football and theses things happen so how about you all think about it and move on!!!

Firstly, how many of the Senior Player's from the H'Burn v's D'Town incident who were on the ground at the time are still at the club?
Secondly, we paid the price and accepted our share of the responsibility.

You missed the point. We certainly don't have a player who consistently goes out of his way to cause serious injury to his opponents on a weekly basis, or threaten harm to them off the footy field. The worst part is, he probably will kill someone one day, intentional or not. No doubt about it. And he and the umpires will have blood on their hands. Best and Fairest worthy he is certainly not.
And you obviously did not read the part about being hypocrites. Not saying we are perfect, never did. I just don't think D'Ford are in a position to throw stones. I suggest you go back and read the thread again. You seem fairly reasonable.

Not very hard to type it up and have somebody push the send button at the desired time ? Not a bad ploy, but you would have to be as dumb as dog droppings to think that it would take longer than two seconds to work it out. If I was Toby, not guilty, and been getting the blame for the trash that Caig writes, I would be shouting loud and clear, well before now, that I was not the guilty party. If that has not occurred to him already he must be in a state of permanent slumber.

haha is this some kind of sick joke? do u seriously think some one would go to the extremes to pre type something up and have someone else press send just so that some of the half wits on here would think it was some one else, come guys, its a chat room, lets not take it too serious yea? and if anyone on here that bags toby out so much actually knows him, it doesnt sound anything like him, so seriously, i think u all need to grow up jst a tad and maybe get a life instead of worrying so muich about what other ppl say on a chat room, a chat room for crying out loud.

I am from another league and watched the dayl hepburn game on weekend. Both clubs and league should be wrapped, nothing to do with the result but the crowd, the way all supporters supported (what I heard near me anyway), thought the umpires were pretty good, and the standard of footy in trying conditions was pretty good for the amount of pressure out on the ground, the skills really held up. Saw the adams incident clearly, was an unfortinnate part of the game, was not deliberate from what I saw, hopefully the kid is ok. But just wanted to say was a terrific game of footy and a great day, looks like your league is moving in the right direction.

May I ask if you are female or male? This just sounds like something my mum would say. You have a few who go for the dirty stuff.

Luke looks at the ball more than anyone, that's why he wins so much contested footy. He is in traffic more than most and if you are in traffic there will be impact. If Shep,Timmy Beach, Fridge, Tiny, Hammer or OX got 35 possessions per game we would need one of those golf cart stretchers at every game and they would be getting slandered. Truth is Luke Adams is someone you love to hate.

Well then I am sure your old lady is great. Say hi to her for me!

And I am guessing you are not sure of my s3x because I can actually string together a few sentences without too much effort..... hmmm... interesting....

Getting plenty of the footy doesn't make you a fair player.

We will have to agree to disagree on this one.

And Milky - wtf are you on about?

Fairplay, the highlighted comment/s would imply you feel Luke Adams is a unfair/dirty footballer.

This would be no problem, yet your staunch pro-Hepburn stance would fundamentally and intrinsically categorize you bias and hypocritical. Of course, objectivity is not something commonly observed in the anonymous online banter that is the 'big footy' forums, nevertheless one must acknowledge that the statements made here are purveyed with the intention of other significant and relevant proponents consuming them.

So, your personal offensive against Luke Adams is thus meaningless and invalid. Reasons being, you support a club which harvests and actively promotes a position of materialism, unlimited expansionism, a overall disrespect for tradition and a culture of aggression and structural violence. In conclusion, your willingness to attack Luke is a by-product of your bias, rather than a objectively analyzed and formulated opinion.

Drawing upon objectivity myself, I have no fear in assuming you are equally ready to label myself a hypocrite in my blatant criticism of Hepburn. However, I take no hesitation in suggesting many of the same underlying issues are present at the Daylesford Football Club. I am a neutral party.

Ease up there, poindexter.

Hello Freak Dodgeball Accident.

I assume you use the term 'ease up there' to imply that I should take a more relaxed and personal approach in my propensity of information.
I assure you that my use of the English language and my choice of jargon is only to ensure my statements appear impartial, impersonal and clarical.

Furthermore, you use of the term poindexter shows a disregard for intellect and programmatic progression thinking. I suggest you cease to use this term as without the above components your exterior and interior world would be inconceivable in accordance with what your socialization has led you to create.

I wasn't aware that you could read minds. Because you seem so sure that my 'attack' is a by product of bias rather that an objective and formulated opinion. How would you know how I formulated my opinion? I can assure you I have had more than enough dealings with the aforementioned both socially and through sporting events both as a youth and adult to enable me to form an objective opinion.

I think you should stop assuming. You know what they say ....ASS....U...ME.... and all that.

However, I commend you on your penmanship. If you are not already a Lawyer, I recommend you commence a Law Degree. He may just have to hire your services one day.

My sincere apologies if my statement came across as presumptuous Fair Play. My suggesting of your hostile opinion of the fore mentioned individual being bias was intended the highlight the willingness of individuals to launch offensives against opposition players whilst unconditionally defending club-aligned players. When, in the most fundamental sense, there can be little differences drawn between the social attitudes of various scrutinized members of both the Daylesford and Hepburn football clubs.

Learmonth, i'm interested in your opinion of the different Springbank team that you would have seen as compared to last years? 170 pt turn around...

Learmonth wont reply, he only responds when his team is winning. Just the way they play, front runners. I dont believe they'll be a threat in the finals.

Might Try asking INTHENO, I can tell you that in my opinion springbank are by far the biggest improvers this year.

ill be looking forward to the ins and outs, I guess hepburn will have pulled up pretty sore, will there be changes made to the team?

Also read that Learmonth have some injury problems, Jonny Basham, was that a result of the Hit from Shep? Tim at full fitness? Sobey? and what happened to the Leonjeham (or however you spell it) brothers?
