Well looking at the ladder i think the final 6 could finish as it is now but probably not in that exact order. Still will be tight race at the end though so could be wrong.
If ballan don't win this week against Beaufort then I think they should really ask themselves if they deserve a finals appearance.
And i hope Sprinkbank can give buninyong a bit of a scare at least.
Beaufort have an interesting few weeks coming up too but have done no wrong to date so a few slips won't kill them now.
Ballan and Springbank will be found out now that they are starting to play decent teams.

I see it's reported in the paper that B. Shep is available to return after suspension but is not due to an injury suffered at training. Plausible, but somewhat suss methinks.
Anyone taking bets on him not playing again?
Seems we have lost some Hepburn identities on here. And no doubt Bunga...06 will be quiet till November, and Ballans guest speakers seem to have gone shy too...

Clunes are on 12 already and although they will struggle against the big 4 should be a chance against Bungaree, Newlyn and maybe Waubra.

What about blokes like Nath Gudgeon, Louis Franc and maybe George Russell as a reserve ruckman?
he is a very handy player was just selected for vic country high chance he will get drafted

vic country under 16s, it would still be two more years till he even got the chance of being drafted. would not be in the chfl's best 22 players.

I think you might be wasting your time chris. He must be brads brother or some relative. We got a good kid in our under 12s I reckon hes a big chance to get drafted should he be in a senior rep team too. yeah crouch can play but what has he played 3 or 4 games of senior footy and is u'16 and waubra10 has him in above j adams, cade o'brien, reece cahir, nick bone, joe gilbert, rick andrews, shaun mullane, danny liston, joe mckay, rod watts, james brothers etc etc. Hes a fool.
Shaun Mullane should definately be in there, before Cummings who can perhaps come off the inter. Beaufort surely must have someone worthy of making it, be it L.Franc or Crouch or A.Bones. Hep-Bunnies-DTown and D-ford have 3 in the original suggested side, share the wealth i say. (Even though i did write up original side)
I'm pretty sure waubra10 you might enjoy the young boys getting a go, but i know if the chfl ever had a team that was to go up against men in a chfl rep side, not more than 1 or 2 of last years u18's would get near it. (unless j.cowan is still available...)
Anyway, my chfl team that would be able to absorb the pressure of rep footy would look like this:

Excellent team selected above. I have been reading some of the teams put up previously and laughed. Finally a team has been posted by someone who obviously watches and knows a variety of games and teams in the CHFL. One small change would be not to leave out J. Adams and replace him in the side for McGuigan who yes is having a good season, but not close to the player of J Adams....
Yep, your side wins! Can you throw in a coach while you're at it? Boxy maybe as non-playing? or Sean Smith as playing coach...
Without much else to discuss then, B.Shep is back for Hepburn. It seems the whole life ban after 16 weeks suspension rule must be a myth.
Clunes haven't given themseves much chance against Hep, so in other imortant games i'll pick Bunnies over Ballan. And expect I expect Daylesford to win over Beaufort, even though they haven't done any wrong Beaufort.

i would say that ballan wont make finals this year hard to believe with the draw they have, burras had another big win, anyone have any comments on the game or daylesfords game are they still a threat to the top couple of teams.

What are everyone thoughts on the future of the league?
The report on WIN news last week suggested that the Lexton Plains League was stuffed and Natte (MCDL) & Ararat (Mininera) want out. That leaves Navarre out in the cold (Horsham, North Central or MCDL) and the rest into the CHFL with 2 divisions.
The CHFL would then have 18 teams with 9 each division.
It seems to me that the VCFL will step in and make the final call. Would it work??!!!
