if the league dont get rid of him this time it will only be a matter of time before he does it again, if not big eddy or robbo would have to send him packing, he is as smart as a rock.

Has anyone got any news on springbank i heard they had 71 at training last thursday night??

News at Sprinbank... is the party is about to end with them having to actually front up against an opponent this week in daylesford. Although the Doggies don't appear to be exactly flying but they should take the points.

in other tips,
i'll have A draw b/w Learmonth and Newlyn.

And the match between the Wind farmers and the Spud farmers being probably the most important considering both sides wanna be up there this year.

Shepp is up to 14 weeks and once a player gets up to 16 weeks they are issued a life ban from the VCFL

Shep got 3 weeks appparently. Im not sure its that clear cut with the life ban situation. From my understanding if a player is up to 16 weeks he gets a letter from the vcfl and then any other report after the letter has been given to the player he is gone for life after that. I could be wrong though. Either way lets hope the league have the balls to do something about him.

whats everyones thoughts on the games this weekend, i think the bunnies will shit inn again this week, waubra to beat towners no sheppard to scare them this week, ballans 1st test this week think they will just get up and newlyn to win their first game this week over the rabble. any other thoughts???

So 3 weeks for Shepherd... and nothing confirmed about the life ban is that the right?

How old is the chap now? Is he even interested in playing football still. It would appear not i'd have to say. Sure Hepburn love having him out there but apart from the cash that he'd likely be playing for it seems he's not interested in playing the sport.

For sale!

1 Big Shep Footy card. One of the best buys ever at country Footy club tuck shop. Can you believe they have there own set of cards.
If anyone has a Hollywood card I am prepared to make a swap.
Look out next year for the HFC dream team comp.
Timmy do you have a card?

Bit of a stumble on the weekend Ballan!?
Are you genuine is believing you will play finals this year? Is that the expectation? Well don't let this little hurdle hold you back then. Plenty more where that came from soon enough.

Its hard to pick the final 6 right about now.
I would say Hepburn+buninyong should expect to (and will)
Daylesford would expect to and should.
Beaufort would probably like to and have maybe showed signs of that but hard to say realistically yet. Draw favours them but would like to see them earn it over better teams. This week will be interesting.
Dunnstown and Waubra in similar boat, they would both expect to but doubt both of them can. And after last week waubra have a big job ahead of them.
Bunga can probably forget it, Learmonth are dreaming, Springbank would be the surprise of the year if they did but despite their draw i think not.

so that leaves only 3 sides making finals??
picture will probably become a lot clearer in the next fortnight with dunnstown v bunga, waubra v daylesford, ballan v springbank, ballan v daylesford, bunga v waubra and springbank v beaufort
the three games involving Bungaree and Waubra will probably have the biggest say on the finals at this stage, they probably need to win both. Virtually impossible to get back from 1-5

im optimistic obviously but ill go with
hepburn
buninyong
Daylesford
ballan
beaufort
bungaree

So Bungaree make it in because you're biased, and beaufort because they beat you? Is that right?
And so when Dunnstown and Waubra beat you over next couple of weeks they'll make it in your top 6 and i guess, meaning ballan and daylesford will have to vacate room for you. Fair enough!

i hear the ballan boys have a few issues with the word disipline, not ready to work as a team... they better learn quick or they could stumble over springbank and daylesford next 2 weeks. lucky they got em at home??

i think the wooden spoon this year is looking intresting 2 .
gordon are inproving with each game with a couple handy players on there list now ..

no i think ballan and beaufort's draw is easy enough that they'll get in. i don't necessarily think they are better sides than waubra, bunga or dunnstown but the reality is that those 3 sides have really been shelved by the draw this year and all three won't make it.
ive placed us in thier on the basis of us winning the next two games which are huge in the context of the season.
i think we can win the next two games hence im optimistic.
if we didn't have any self belief there'd be no point playing would there...

im going with
buninyong
hepburn
daylesford
ballan
dunnstown
sprinbank

im going with
bunninyong (undefeated)
hepburn
dunnstown
daylesford
beaufort
then ballan,waubra or springbank
learmonth for the spoon

What was the actual outcome with sheppard? Is he gone for good?? Also was talking about it with someone the other week and they mentioned that little brick sh*thouse coulthard that played at bunny... Is he still going around and if so he would be close to the 16 game limit as well wouldn't he?

As this talk has dropped off with no Aj or timmy talking there teams up what is the general concencous of the sides this year? have some of the bottom teams gordon, clunes, springbank genuinely improved? Or played no one? hepburn are obviously still strong, bunny look better, learmonth have fallen right off with the mass exodus (looks like tonight could decide the spoon almost!!) but what about the rest?

Just trying to generate some actual discussion, not the slanging sooking bagging crap that has gone on here alot

Cheers

they got over the line againts the bankers i see but what is going wrong with the disipline??? i did hear something that came out of the clunes game with wilks up to his usual best

Well guess there not a great deal to talk about Shaneo, but there quite a few interesting games been played this season with the final 6 being far from decided.

This week; Beaufort v Springbank will be interesting
ballan v daylesford as well, but surely daylesford aren't suffering that much of a hangover that they've dropped off that much. Ballan will be out to prove a lot and this result may decide whether or not people take them as serious contenders or pretenders. I'l pick D-ford but still think Ballan will contend heavily for finals berth.

Hell even the result between Gordon and Learmonth could go either way.
Bungaree are likely going to be officially out of the race for finals after this week. If they are not already.

And to amuse myself i'll take Clunes in an upset. I don't trust Buninyong to not self destruct before the year is out.

very provocative post there crackerz. yes 1st time poster long time reader. i think it is the most wide open race in a long time. i think the clunes call this week is a bit much. they've improved a bit but buninyong have no weakness in their team at the minute and will smash them. at this stage, hep and bunny certainty. daylesford, hangover but will come good. beaufort will demand a final 6 spot with about 13 wins from their draw and are not a "bad" side. then dtown, sbank, waubra and ballan for the last 2 spots. it's really interesting this year. oh yeah and if you're referring to shaneo waubra10 as shane skontra, i think the whole league would agree with me in saying he is way too guarded to post that obviously. unlike dopey old learmonth. anyway good to have some uncertainty in the league.

i seen they just got up i thought it would be a close one, this week is a huge test for them. i also seen wilks got dropped to the 2s and got best on. how is waubra shaping up this year

lee cox was unbeleiviable today 19 goals 4, along with a 30 goal win to the burras, broke greg barras haul of 18 from a few years back.
