Who won the highly anticipated clash between Clunes and Skipton?
Not sure where you get your info from cledis but i think you have know idea on carnghams recruiting to say they have recruited 2,s players is a bit far fetchedbit of a concern that the 4 old LPFL teams coming in look to have dropped off from last season & considering they're coming from a much lower standard than the existing CHFL teams would point to a few good hidings for us new fish. The LPFL was in a much stronger position 4-5 yrs ago & the 4 teams would've been fairly competitive but im really not sure now! Illabrook.....rubbish, absolute rubbish, Rokewood, been competitive for a decade but the wheels are shakier than the coach's knees at senior level now, Skipton will provide genuine competition every week and Carngham seem to have recruited a heap of 2's players
Jack Savage (2 time premiership player at daylesford)
Jake Pring (premiership player at daylesford and played at lake wendouree)
Matt farrell (Senior player at learmonth when they finished top three)
Liam Price (Malley league Representitive)
Josh crawford (Ballarat football club last year)
Sounds like CL should have entered the BFL rather than the CHFL. They will dominate this year. No doubt about it.

Yeah should win the flag easy. With jake pring winnning the league b/f & savige the goalkicking. Pfttt!!!
Not sure who you follow buddy, But im tipping you would have them in your team!!! Both betta than run of the mill players..
No need for sacasim here guys, no one said they would win the flag or should be in the bfl, i clearly stated a few players that had proven themselves at senior level and would make the team a bit more competetive and will be about mid range in the league this year.
As for your comment bombers1983, we all no jake pring wont win the league B/F and jack savage wont win the goalkicking but they are 2 premiership players in this league and would be handy for any side, was clearly just stating some players they had picked up that were not 2's players
Pull the other 1 mate. Savage is ok but pring is nothing special. Guess we will see this year how good he is
I think you need to read posts before you start gobbing of BOMBER, no one said these blokes were stars, CLEDI YOKEL stated that carngham had picked up a heap of 2's players and i clearly stated a few players they had picked up that have been playing senior footy for over 5 years now so clearly his post was wrong, so before you go dribbling the garbage you put on here and every other league forum you get on actually know what you are talking about.
Great to see someone putting in an effort. Im not really one for stats, but i think the wind farmers have picked up two guns in gregg (lakers) a former leading goal kicker with the roosters and gleeson (grovedale) a former captain of grovedale. what do you think about them vintage

I haven't seen anyone get on here and pump up their own team like this since the days when the Learmonth coach used to get on here. We all know how that turned out.
Wow... You really put me in my box! I'm very sorry if I offended you with my previous posts.
Thanks Guys. Not sure of specifics of Gleeson, but from what I have been told, he not only was a star for Grovedale, but also finished 2nd in the League B&F and was captain of the interleague side.... Suggests he can play a bit.
CHFL sides will need to have a couple of blokes to try and stop him and the Kanga's midfield this year...
Although with a few of their other pickup's everyone needs to load up the back line as well.... Gregg and Mirabella added to the forward line already spearheaded by Brown, leaves John Coleman as the 4th forward that will be the number 1 man in most other sides...
Waubra starting as flag favorites??

considering mid range is between 12th and 6th, i wouldnt think there would be to much air in those tyres GRUSS

How many horse race to we genuinley think it is this year? Certainly more interesting year! Good thing too
Two horse race. Hepburn and Waubra a long way ahead of the rest of the competition.
Plenty others in the race for the 4 and 8 though.
expect Beaufort, Buninyong and Dunnstown to be all pressing for a top 4 finish.
Posted something similar late lat year but the groups seem to have changed.

Mid range is a single number. In an 18 team comp it is 9.5. You're referring to something more like the interquartile range.
Apologies for taking some back to year 10 maths. Which teams do you see your side finishing above?
