brennan comes from sebas and cuisack comes over from lakers,
dom godfrey played for waubra in under 15s but then had a couple of years in bfl at lakers but has come out.

bryce dowler is waubra's best player

yeh u would hav to say waubra best player is dowler. i heard they made some ******** as captain by the name of barny... one of waubras top recruits bill gallagher i hear he can play.

Learmonth seem to be looking alright, from all reports have a list of about 25 including former bfl b&f Tom Nankivell. Been out of the game for a couple of years so could be a bit raw but can deffinently see him as a serious b&f contender :thumbsu:

tips:
Clunes vs Gordon
Beaufort vs Bungaree
Hepburn vs Daylesford
Learmonth vs Dunnstown
Newlyn vs Ballan
Springbank vs Creswick
Buninyong vs Waubra

all the favorites should win this week. closest match will be the burras and the doggies. biggest winning margin will b from Waubra against the Bunnies, Dowler will have to step up for this match.

Watched Dunnstown and Learmonth play the 18's in Round 1 today. A low scorgin but hard fought and enjoyable game to watch with the Towners winning by 13 points being just in front all day. Todd CURRAN was missing as he is playing Seniors. Dunnstowns Ash Mullane had an off day , but with (25) Cam Carter in the Ruck and Number 11 and 14 playing well and keeping, the Towners in front to the siren.

The Lakies had many chances but probably beat themselves with several poor choices around the goals costing them many chances. Lakies had some fantastic contributors in new players Number 18, (Nankivell), who finished with 30 plus touches around the ground, 10 (Coleman) who dominated in the overhead marking department with many other good contributors around the ground, however falling 13 points short at the final siren.

Dunnstown should be a finals contender and if Learmonth gets Curran back, they should also see early finals action in August.

The towners fitness got them over the line in what was a well battled and hard fought game nicely played within the spirit of the game. Well done both teams. 8.3.51 to 6.2.38

Whats the go with this bloke

Hi Chris and Harry, Watched Nankivell at Learmonth today....they lost by a couple of goals but holy shit can he still go!!!!!. Not a big bloke but built like a brick shit house....had 30 plus touches and having been away from the game doesn't seem to have done him any harm at all. Ran out of puff late in the last quarter but played a very selfless game bringing his team mates into the game all day and missed maybe one target with some great kicks, both left and right foot. In all the Lakies probably lost the game themselves, but should enjoy more losses than wins for the season, as should the Towners. Nice to watch, and the haircut's out there too.

Yes Ash was probably saving him self for the senior game for Ballan against Newlyn where he was best on. How did Aaron Mullane go for Dunnstown?

I also watched the team. And you able to tell the team was not the same without former captain jase lenoard....but the number 12 jernsey was succesfully filled but younng and up coming star jordan crone. he carried the team in the middle and on the wing. he had some nervs infrount of the big sticks but was able to show his ball handling skills and setting players up players all over the ground. handy little player.
