That’s if they keep Jarrod Stokes and Hass Ahmat Watkins as well. Having talked to a few people they said they weren’t loving the travel especially some games they would have to finish games earlier in the last to get back to the airport or having to fly back to Darwin late Sunday night which would take a toll on their bodies. Credit to them though they still played some very good football and were a reason Nyah made it so far into the season.

Weren’t they the ones to get Grenfell to the club?

If they can play Walsh and Erlandson at FB and CHB that’s about the best combo in the league. Ahmat Watkins and Grenfell up forward and if they can get someone to put next to Stokes in the midfield they just about have all bases covered.
Their peripheral players are good enough imo.

You make a good point there would definitely be a very hard team to stop that’s for sure!

Not to sure they got him there as he did play a game for them when Marong had a bye during season 2023 and they also play at different clubs up there.

I heard a rumour that Tyntynder have signed Tyson Mackenzie from Waratahs also.

It's not like there's no challenge in the north central this year, with the big recruiting taking place, to me tyntynder look a 4-7 team, but good on him for taking the challenge to lift tyntynder up

I wouldn’t read to much into the prelim. They came up against an experienced finals side that were embarrassed the week before. They now know what to expect going forward.
I do think they need a plan B though. The run and gun style works well alot of the time but they needed to slow that game down early when Kerang came out firing.

Yeah game was over after Brad Pay piled 4 on with young Threadgold chasing him.

Expect a few more signings to come out of Tyntynder. Margo/wattie connection to shep is going to wield a few I am led to believe

United finished near the bottom of the ladder in the gv, and wouldn't have got close to finals in the central murray last year. There isn't much there to recruit.

Nyah was third last the year before I believe another Year under O’Neill and Murphy coming on board they should improve on last season one would think.

If they keep the core of Darwin blokes rather than a different look each week it will go a long way. I've always liked nyah and hope they go well.

Sadly the only thing harder would be finding locals good enough.
Nyah last year had something like 17 living locally but, not many clubs would be close to that.

There is know doubting there top end talent is good it is their bottom 10 where they fallaway drastically! It would be bloody good to see them win a few games though
