Cohuna got within 3 points in the last quarter, before the Kerangutans kicked the last 3 goals
Not sure what game you were at but that did not happen at all Cohuna played better in the last but didn’t get within three points. You can’t be within three points then conceded the last three goals and lose by 37 points

Went to the Cohuna ground yesterday and the game was competitive in the first quarter. Johnstone was given licence to move wherever he pleased and it proved a good move. Linked up well through the middle of the ground and kicked a couple.
Any talk of Kerang's depth is folly. Their kids are ready to play any role asked by Coates, who is still a gun. But he is passing on the torch to Sean Hunter. What a delight to see him play. Started forward against Conforti who did well but Hunter is one of the top 5 in the league. Speccies, ground ball, roosting from 50, did it all.
Cohuna didn't play badly but what hurt them was a few dropped marks inside 50 going forward which simply must be taken against the heavyweights.

Any chance the Gannawarra times hire your services kid, to deliver a decent footy write up

Last game before the tooley boys head over to Europe you’d think it’s a must win game if they were to have any hope of making the 5 with Mallee Eagles hitting their straps of late to sneak in the 5 as well.

Does anyone know if Connor McDonald is one of them? If so could cost himself a Jack betts has been absolutely dominating by all reports. Gave our ruckman a touch up a few weeks back as well.

Also on Mallee Eagles big couple of weeks coming up for them. Hopefully they can play a consistent 4 quarter performance this week against Barham and win which will then lead into a massive clash against Woorinen for the reunion weekend. The eagles seem to be doing everything right at the moment and are flying under the radar, will be a good challenge for both teams especially with Woorinen gaining a few back I have heard the next couple of weeks.

Just on Woorinen as well does anyone know why Ben Booth hasn’t played since round 2 is he injured or just lost interest? You’d think if he came back would be a big in for Woorinens backline and maybe free up say Doug Beames to swing forward and play that lead up CHF role that they seem to be lacking.

Yep Connor heading over for 6 weeks!
We are hoping to get him and Harry Maher back home to Noosa next year. Both terrific players, Connor a Senior B and F winner and has been dominating wherever he goes!

How many Tooley recruits are going? If the bulk go, they could very easily be lucky to win 1 of the 6 they're gone.

And crazier things have happened, but unless kb have improved, Eagles get a win

Tooleybuc are already struggling now with 2 young kids on the wing that both cannot get a touch and a bench that struggles to get kicks in the Seconds.

If Mallee Eagles can get 2-3 back soon they will become a threat for sure.

Nyah obviously struggling a little with suspensions hurting them but still the team to best over Balranald and Kerang.

I don’t think many people know where Woorinein are at including their coach. I’m thinking pretenders more than contenders and just making up numbers.

Most teams vying for top five have multiple players to return from injury. It may just be the team with least injuries and who gets the double chance may be best pick but still too early
