Lead to believe that the travel and family are the main factors to his departure. Derek and son and hawks factor sure to have some effect on the decision.

Definately a lot of crap posted on this site, but this was right on the money..Word is, which i find hard to believe, FILO isn't to happy with Jock recruiting all these players. He wanted his 4 or five gun recruits as well as a few locals to return and then give the tallented young locals the chance to play in a good side and develop. The "kid" from Melbourne, (Jocks nephew) was told, by Shaun for the betterment of his football it would be best if he left and he was sorry as it was not the way he wanted it to be.. It's said, FILO told Jock this but JOCK said stiff biccy's..

to Filo if he left because they are spending FAR to much on players and ruining footy..Jock could probably coach them too, with the players they have and the collective egos all they need is someone to shuffle the magnets probably!! Definately a lot of crap posted on this site, but this was right on the money..
heard there might be more than filo leaving as well. some blokes are prepared to not play football at all than watch the great man leave when he shouldn't have to. also heard there was a bit of a fisticuffs between committee members 2 weeks ago at club awards after game
Is it true that withers and singh are some of thoses blokes leaving?????
How can they leave when clearences have closed? These blokes love the coin to much to sit out of footy, i would say that Filo looked after the club with the timing of his decision.

no one said they were going to play anywhere else it was stated that they might be leaving. the money those blokes have been on for thier 10 games would be more than what they would earn most other years so i would say they would be in front

i also heard filo was unhappy with all the spending and latest batch of recruits i heard the signing of dennis was the straw that broke the camels back !
On local win news tonight it said that Filo is staying on as coach of Balranald so must of had a change of heart. The balranald committee would be a lot happier now.

It was reported in the bendigo advertiser yesterday that shaun was sighned to eaglehawk 5 hours before the deadline. So he has gone
Until filo's clearance is approved by Balranald he hasn't gone.
i presume you are talking about filo. with the money that they are paying him i would say there would have been get out clauses for both parties just in case either party wasn't happy.
have heard that balranald are more than happy to clear him if he is unhappy and this is due to points as they have some blokes playing in 2's who can come in at the expense of a 5 pointer. was also told that they may have told him they don't think he is in their best 22 but this is only heresay of course.
As coach he'd be zero anyway. The only way they could reduce points is if a current 5 pointer became coach then he would then be worth zero, opening up 5 points. This Filo/Balranald situation is truly bizarre.

As a playing coach he is worth 5 points, because he was recruited within the league. When he is not actually playing, only coaching then he is a zero.
