I think if players have to travel a certain amount of time thats also a reason for clearence not to be refused. So if players were coming from Melb every week the club cannot refuse the clearence unless they're contracted still have jumper or owe money.

The players at balranald who may not be cleared as they are "required" players. I'm not 100% sure on the rules but I think a player can be cleared from a club (even if a required player) if they have to travel a certain distance or over a particular amount of time. So lets say Balranald arnt clearing players because they're "required", they wont have a choice if they have to travel from melb or somewhere else thats over a certin distance.

Dont think Kilmore spend much but have got big Kenny Ingram, plenty of talk around town about how far the Blues can go. Time will tell if the big old body gets thru one more season.

That would be correct D2. Have heard that his mate Barrett has driven Filo up the dirt track and promised Filo the world and when times have got tough barrett has backed out and gone missing in action. Apparently Barrett has gone around and promised this and that to all the players and when it has come to the end of the season none of the other committee members knew what was going on and players where putting their hands out for coin. This is where a lot of the problem has come from i believe.

If you were a president that had got the club into turmoil wouldn't you think that a president would go another year and try to keep the ship afloat.
Filo the most honest bloke has certainly been taken for a ride by this club. No apologies, plan to pay any of money owing, no nothing.

New committee have wiped their hands of it all. Clubs cannot play with peoples lives. Chilts is owed a fair whack and needed his money for x-mas. Have heard they have made a few payments to the players who they were hoping to come back.
Anyone else hear of a club not paying their coach their wages????

Well maybe he should go over and start playing in Japan, all he'll have to do is slant his eyes a little Mr. McLennan and Sheeds will prolly fly him over to train with the bombers.

I may have been a bit slack of late, however atleast I turned up to functions during the time I was at Dvale and wasn't home wiping babies bums. Also good to see you have been following my posts, obviously Punters in a bit of trouble and I thought by wasting some time at work and getting behind him it might bring a smile to the poor fella's face. He values what I have to say.

Apart from that is there much word out of Gunnny, putting together a nice young list...they should threaten this year??

Not just Barrett promising the world,jock as well, he would go out get these players offer $1000 a game or more(committe find out later they would have come 4 $600 a game after they've signed) then jock only wants to pay a certain few blokes. A lot of stuff was done without the knowledge of the majority of the committe, example; Chris Dunne deal a couple of years ago mid season, thanks Frizz he was handy (over-rated). The new committee are trying their best i'm sure, really dont get the impression they have wiped their hands of anything. P.S. Chilts has been enjoying a holiday overseas lately i hear, he might of got a bit of money maybe.:thumbsdown:

Someone would have rang him and told someone that they are speaking to him and it has gone like wildfire or something stupid like that.
This would surprise me if he was headed to this part of the world, stranger things have happened but I don't think Manang would be letting him go regardless he would be worth paying the $$$ to get home every week and they can afford it.
If he was gonna go anywhere it would be back up to the SFL i would imagine and it may happen at the end of this year but not now in my opinion.

Its a shame there is so much trouble out at balranald. After the last 2 years it could not have happened to a better side! :)

Tyntynder has been quiet on their 'silly season'. Any news there of recruits or potential recruits?

frizzy is a busy man but will still be heavily involved-jacks will go well,the meeting was a massive success -all debts will be cleared (players included)so it might be time for the people hiding behind this forum(my name is garth)to stop talking rubbish about things they no nothing about-the club will survive , ps i am not juddy 5 sorry ptyr - go roos

might be a bit of a blow to you guys rumour has it wade pitson has signed at locky.dont know of any others to sign yet tho.
he is pretty handy isnt he?
pritchett has dropped at least 10kgs over summer and is looking fantastic.dont tell him that though. he should have a great year. locky looking to be a contender this year with several new recruits. will have the best midfield in the league id say.

people who have been on here for a while know each other its just the newbies that don't know who we are.
so your out of debt whoop de do how many players are staying at the club out of the ones that wanted to go?
