yeh exactly m8n good luck 2 the young fella certianly got the potential 2 go all the way so i hope he does, any one hared any storys are woorinens arrivals, considering they lost a few recruits from last year?

Anyone interested in a change of lifestyle which includes playing for the Zillmere Eagles in the State League competition (AFLQ) please contact me privately.

The club has a terrific history and are a young club on the rise after playing in the 2006 AFLQ Grand Final and last season winning the Reserve Grade Premiership. One of the top 5 clubs Australia Wide for players drafted.

Club has been involved in some off field issues which have now been resolved but have found ourselves slow out of the blocks from a recruiting point of view. The club is seeking recruits who feel they have something to offer at this level and would like to take the oppurtunity to live in QLD and play in the AFLQ.

PLAYING COACH WANTED​

Due to extreme circumstances Ararat Eagles, affiliated with the Lexton Plains Football League are seeking a playing coach for the 2008 season. Excellent playing and social room facilities with a young list to work with. Have been getting on average 24 players to training at the moment. Leigh Whelan- 33ish and nearing the end of a solid career.
Greg Whelan- 31ish and coming back from knee reco.
Luke Fulton- Backman/tagger.
OUT-
Will Callow- CMFL Interleague squad member. Hard to replace quality big men.

Another long season at the Twin towns.

He's travelling out their to play with mates, Prendergast, Nuttal etc. Good crew of blokes, getting paid well for their services........

If Troy McMaster is fit and well he'll their B&F and probably the league. Dont know who else they have picked up tho???

And your predictions/thoughts on how the ladder might look at the end of year.

boga and swanhill have recruited a few and will be very strong. the top 5 could finsh something like
Swanhill
Boga
Tooly
Kerang
Letchi
and Tyntynder out of this top 6 2 see who makes the finals i would say
 
L/G will be the big improvers with a poor showing against the top sides last year, lessons learnt will stand them in good stead to push for the flag

Boga have recruited well but i think they would be looking at two year process.

Swan Hill have picked up Davies (ex Carlton) Kruger and Lawry not sure who else? But they have lost Bourke, Pekin, Robertson and Evans. They are big losses so is the improvement enough to counterbalance the losses?

Tyntynder will definately be up the top, they always remain quite this time of year but they'd have something up their sleeves, smug bastards.

Tooly are the team to beat in my mind whilst having lost a few are just so strong accross the baord with exceptional depth.

Also look to Filo to make big moves at Kerang, Best Roughie for the flag.

Some big rumours that all isnt well between the camp at L/G in regards to money spent last year. The committee is aslo very divided on the amount of home games that should be played at each ground also.

Boga have recruited ok but don't think they will be good enough to fit into top four. Apparantly spending close to 1k a game on a young fella that played with Calder Cannons last year.

Swan Hill will probably drift a bit but have some good juniors coming through that won a flag last year so might be a rebuilding year. With with quality talls like beasy, foott, davies and brown & holt at each end of the spine they wont be far away from top 5. They will have a few in the pipeline still.

tyntynder have been very quiet so far maybe they over indulged last year couldn't see them being any better than last year, maybe a little worse.

Rumour-Mill you are still a f..kstick & full of shit! Narbi Kelly played at the Northern Knights & him getting 1k a game is about as close to the truth as you actually getting something right, NOT VERY CLOSE AT ALL!

I never said that what I said was true I have always stated I am just here telling people what is out there in rumour land. So the info I got on the club was wrong. I was told by a couple of people he is getting 1k and also by a few people $800 so we will downgrade it by $200 then to keep you little sooks up at boga happy.
I am not here to talk sense and say what is true, that is for all you die hard BigFooty followers who treat this like a religion and go around telling everyone you know something cause you read it on bigfooty. The info i get actually comes from people not just made up.

That is a bit nasty my old mate Caught with the ball. He is only putting here what he has heard from others, like the rest of us! Although on this young man I know for a fact that he has told others that he is on $600 per game, although once again this could be hear say from young blokes trying to increase there worth in the world of football.
How are beloved Pies looking bald one? Is Ross Rhode playing with you this year or whoring around again like every other year? Will Wes Pye play more games than last year? and finally are you finished or do you still need the money and that is why you continue?

That's a bit harsh also there's still a bit on top! The young man can tell people what he likes but it's not that. Just looking forward to see him on the park when the real stuff starts. Go's ok apparently. Pies looking to improve on a dissaponting '07 & hopefully make the finals in '08. Rhode signed a contract for '08 as far as i know he's right. Wes has prepared very well & is looking the goods. Let's hope body holds up & plays more than last year. I will continue if i get a game that is! And no it's not for the coin, thats dried up for this old fella. Not worthy! How about yourself Money Talks playing on again?

So you are happy for a recruit of your to be going around telling people that he is on big $$$ and make you look stupid? And if he is on $600, $800 or $1000 your happy for him to go ok apparantly? Anyone on this money would want to be able to win you a game off their own boot every week, hopefully for you guys he can because thats alot of loot for an 18yr old.

Can't see how he is making us look stupid & you said it yourself this is big footy (a lot of rumours). Who even knows if he's told anyone anything! Why do you go on quoting these ridiculous figures. Yes, he is 18 so leave the kid alone & let him get on with the footy. By the way there was a hint of sarcasm in the comment 'go's ok'........
