Yes, I actually did forget about TK, lol. He's our biggest trade acquisition this century.

Losing him clearly didn't hinder Geelong though, did it? They went on to win the flag in 2022.

Just like losing Warner will get Swans something decent, perhaps even better, in return.

You say this yet look at Brisbane.

They recruited Neale from Freo, who's a South Australian.

J. Daniher is Victorian.

Dunkley, another key contributor.

They managed to bring Charlie Cameron home from SA.

Then there's the 2 Vic brothers going by the name of Ashcroft in recent years, who both elected to move to Brisbane as F/S, instead of staying at home and being drafted to a Vic club.

So on top of being able to bring in elite talent from other clubs, 5 of which who aren't from Qld, they also have an academy to hoard homegrown talent to themselves.



The only 'level' playing field you need to look at is the AFL ladder.

Your mob may not have played finals yet but the other 3 are competing in(and winning) grand finals in the last decade.

It's pretty rich to try and claim that Northern clubs have some kind of disadvantage when the AFL is doing everything within their power to ensure they are at the point end come finals and let the WA and SA clubs rot.

Not getting in on this argument, but the Ashcrofts are QLD'ers. Born and raised on the Gold Coast. Began in the Suns academy. Then their dad moved to Vic for work, so obviously the family moved with dad. Still, every summer school holidays, the kids would come back up the GC to spend the holidays staying with Grandma.

Now the whole family is back in QLD since dad has left Sandringham.

Spoons are no issue when you have witnesses the success that i have seen from my team
8 flags in my life time. But one only knows this when you experience what a pleasure it is to see your club hold up the premiership cup.

Does freo have any chance to meet the dollars he will be looking at getting from the eagles ?
Does he make freo a genuine flag threat ?
Which players make room for him and bolton's million in the cap

Do freo have enough draft capital to get it done or will need to off load some big name players to get it done

I parked in Freo today for breakfast, when we got back to our car there was a card under our wiper from "Jamal the Psychic Professor" I was wondering what the hell to do with it... now that ive read your question I will ring him right now... i'll get back to ya.

Well I did ask him that.. he said quicker than 37 years...Said we wont suffer like Richmond and their stretch between VFL to AFL flags. ;)

They got band 4 compo . Because we gave Graham more years on less money .

So the whole we paid Graham heaps is a bit of a lie

I'm sure Phil was alluding to Richmond not wanting to play the game of us over paying for Graham to get Baker cheaper .

I thought Phil was saying the AFL didn’t want you and Richmond to collude over contract for Graham to get a better compensation pick for Richmond, so then could trade a lesser pick for Baker.

Basically get Richmond a band 3 compo pick and pay your second round pick for Baker.

Phil said it didn’t matter how big a contract Graham got, Richmond were only going to get an end of round pick.

I thought Richmond were the ones to snub that offer as they wanted pick 14 ?

Richmond also offered Graham more money to get us to up our offer but Graham declined.

From what has been said Graham has been great during preseason but his lack of pace and injury history makes me sceptical he is worth what we paid .
