Supercoach Round 3 SC Talk - Round 3 Trades ,//, AFL Fantasy Round 2 AF Talk - Round 3 AF Trades
I think that is a bit of an overstatement. He made a few mistakes, but it could be argued that he like some of the other more mature players are trying extra hard to both fulfil their own jobs and also provide extra top cover for some of their less experienced teammates.Gotta drop Doc surely. Has been bloody awful.

I think we need his experience in the team.
His Mum was excellent as well.Let's get Croft into the team, if only to show the world what the team is going to look like post-JUH. They can wow at the running capacity and marking skills.
I've met Jordan and he is a great kid, his father did a great job raising a fine upstanding character.
Certainly concerning. With his experience, probably gets another chance, but definitely on watch.Gotta drop Doc surely. Has been bloody awful.
JOD has been played on smalls before so that’s not going to hold him being brought back in.Sounds like no Harry for the blues so it will be interesting how tall to go. Lobb plays, Buku deserves to play after last week. They may hold Jones for another week if there is no Harry and there is not a spot down back for JOD.
Harry Mckay unlikely to play on Friday
Well, so much for my plans to attend this game. Normally I rock up to away games at the gate no issue, but lucky I checked it, as it seems only a small handful of level 2 tickets remain.
I assume Carltons large membership base leaves little public tickets?
Also, I read somewhere that someone mentioned that home teams set prices. Hence the steep prices.
Since when? $100 tickets? Damn! Don't recall seeing that ever.
IN: Jones, JOD
OUT: Duryea, Jones
In last year's match-up they had Curnow, McKay, and TDK playing forward (Pitto rucked) with Lobb and Buku the only recognised tall defenders and we managed to hold thme at bay. Granted Curnow kicked something like 3.7 from memory.Sounds like no Harry for the blues so it will be interesting how tall to go. Lobb plays, Buku deserves to play after last week. They may hold Jones for another week if there is no Harry and there is not a spot down back for JOD.
Pittonet is out for 4 more weeks with a calf. Are we assuming Carlton bring in another ruck to assist, allowing TDK to play forward? Or will Kemp go up forward? I suspect JOD and Jones both come in, to play on Curnow/Resting Ruck or Kemp, allowing Lobb to float and intercept.
Oh - I didn't know that, I just assumed they'd preferred TDK. Thanks for that.Pittonet is out for 4 more weeks with a calf.
Big game expected from our defenders.
They’ll have Weitering, McGovern, Young, Curnow, Kemp & Silvagni as their 6 attacking & defensive talls.Oh - I didn't know that, I just assumed they'd preferred TDK. Thanks for that.
Lewis Young is another option, but I suspect given his height they'd want him on Darcy. That takes me back to the Lewis Young defensive effort on 2MP back in 2021.
Silvagni looked really good last week in the forward line. They’ll have Weitering, McGovern, Young, Curnow, Kemp & Silvagni as their 6 attacking & defensive talls.
I don’t think even Voss knows how they’ll line up these guys tomorrow night.
Neither of them are very good at it,JOD can play forward so can Khamis. So that may be on the cards.
I agree that I prefer Croft. But with Khamis playing well enough to keep his spot and Jones & JOD needing to get back in. Doesn’t look likely Croft will debut this week.Neither of them are very good at it,
JOD mildly better but that is not difficult given Khamis is lead up mark or nothing
Croft is the easy fix and answer in terms of extra forward and also flexibility
Khamis was fine last week but wouldn't say it was enough to justify changing everything to keep him in the team,I agree that I prefer Croft. But with Khamis playing well enough to keep his spot and Jones & JOD needing to get back in. Doesn’t look likely Croft will debut this week.
I don’t mind JOD forward. Moves well, aggressive and he will only be the absolutely last option with Darcy & naughton getting most of the ball directed to them. It’s more for structure.
Also agree, I wouldn’t have him in either but I can’t see us dropping him and I think we need another tall in F50.Khamis was fine last week but wouldn't say it was enough to justify changing everything to keep him in the team,
He is a fine enough depth player who is the first out when senior players are fit
Yeah people assume Khamis can play small cause he is smaller but he really can't. JOD is significantly more suited to playing on a small.JOD has been played on smalls before so that’s not going to hold him being brought back in.
Not to mention we were probably one tall down last week. Bevo has mentioned this year that he still sees JOD with the potential to swing forward so we might even use that to cover periods where Darcy moves into the ruck or Naughton gets a breather.
