I've already posted that I think he's a real asset but also that he's probably the least indispensable player in the current 22; was trying to identify the least risky way of fitting in Josh Carmichael into the side

McCreery 'probably the least indispensable player in the current 22'... who are the dispensable ones ?... let's drop one of those guys for Carmichael.

Apologies for the intrution but l need help with my tickets.. l purchased 2 tickets on Level 2A in P5 section and l'm worried that these might be a members area however when l purchased them l wasn't asked for any barcodes. Could someone tell me if these tickets will let me get to my seats and is this area open to the public. Thanks..

What stand are they in?

I imagine if it let you buy them without barcodes, they can't not let you into those seats.

Thanks...l seem to have a nack of finding either loud opposition supporter or our own supporters to sit near much to my wifes annoyance....which she always reminds me of...:worried:
Keep the wife happy and everything else takes care of its self.

Carmichael, Macrae et al are no less midfield depth learning their craft in the VFL where they’re afforded full games at the coalface.
An interesting perspective and probably true from a strict 'assets-on-the-club's-balance sheet' view; but isn't there some kind of value increase to be realised when 2nd team assets are promoted to the 1sts, at least in terms of testing them out in a faster-paced and higher-general-skills environment?

If we don't expose them early enough, how can we tell if they'll make the grade? If we wait too long, isn't there a risk also that we end up bringing them into a side that's no longer being as successful as we seem to be at the moment? Realise that too much change would be counter-productive, but might be worth the limited gamble against NMFC?

You’d think that Macrae and Carmichael would need to demonstrate at least 70-80 minutes of hard midfield running before they dislodge anyone. Nothing to do with anything other than building their tanks so that they can slot into our pressure/release game style.

I can’t wait to see how they go but realize it’s likely not until next year or catastrophic injuries force our hand.

I hope you're wrong but fear you're right.

Another way of looking at it is that Beau McC over his last 5 games for us has averaged roughly 70% TOG. Suggests that a huge tank is probably not as critical as may be thought?

70 % time on ground is not to be sneezed at , especially the way McCreery uses his manical chasing , harassing and the way he rag doll tackles his opponents, very taxing , and you have to have a serious tank and core strength to play as he does .

I’d rather not go into a big game or the finals where we’re a midfield injury away from a debutant and or a player who’s only played one game as the medi sub this season.
