Cox hasn't done much wrong if that's what you are trying to prove.

That claims that Cox is Good Ruckman are somewhat over stated. He is useful, but objetcive measures show he's mostly in the bottom 20% for actual performance.

Well it's hard to much wrong sitting on the pine for half the game. The coaching staff are reducing his ruck minutes this season (but limited sample).

Of the Rucks who played significant ruck time in 2022 (more than 7 games and at least 8 hit outs on average ) Cox gives 29th out of 33 for hits to advantage. (there not enough body of work for 2023, and his ruck time has been quite limited)

On what basis can he said to be a good ruckman. His Ruck stats are all in the lower 20%.

He does get very much of the ball around the ground, and turns it over a lot.

He does take more contested marks.

I have invited people to make a case against the stats so far they declined and gone for irrelevancies.

Ah, for a moment, I thought you were going to say coaching, but that would be completely ridiculous.
I love Bucks so much.
But gee, I love Fly and this team.

Let’s go all the way and win the bloody thing.

I'd strongly suggest looking nat stats and actually watch the game and the way he helps us structure up he's been brilliant both around the ground and in the centre square and has gone a fair way to helping our clearance stats

Surprised if it was a simple dislocation, checkers would have pulled it out & played. Hoping it is.

The stats around rucks are shite. Cox did his job today, took a number of good marks & reasonable on hitouts. He & Darcy are a team. I'd love to see stats on the ruck team, rather than one key Ruck.
Fly stated clearly in the presser that checkers had dislocated it. He doesn’t strike me as one to lie for the sake of it

Stats are not everything. And they can lie, but his statistic performance is quite poor in Ruck terms.

I suggest you watcg the games again. Hyperbole. Briiilant he;s playing 50% game time. If you claims are true are you claiming that FLy m,aking nad mistakes in his use of Cox? He;s playing very few actual Ruck minutes?

Getting very few hitouts or possessions. Almost all of his effectiveness has been as a forward rather than a ruck. He attending what 30% of Ruck contests and perfroming well below the average Rucks of the competition i terms of actually hit the ball to advantage.

He;' getting very little of the ball around the ground and turning it over the most. (gettng the ball 8 times on avarge in 2022 for 2 turnovers)

Cox perfroms in the lower teir for every objective statistic about Rucking.
Are contested marks an objective stat for a ruckman?

Last year, Gawn was the only ruckman in the league to average more per game. And Cox's minutes per game were low, so probably takes clunks at a similar rate to big Maxy.

1 extra contested mark a game trumps everything else does it? They are handy but they are not everything.

2002 Gawn averaged 2.5, Pruess 2.1 Cox 1.6,. So wrong there.

I’m no doc but he sounded pretty resounding that checkers would play. Bloody lynch broke his hand and played the following week 😂
Yeah he'll play. Ginnivan isn't going to come straight back in, AJ and Reef are pressuring. There's no way Checkers would give up his spot at the moment - even if it's ratshit, he'd fake his way through it

What are cox and Cameron paid? You are missing the point completely. McRae and co don’t value $ in rucks. And I agree 100%. What’s Grundy on? What did he do last night when Gawn went down? Sweet f all. 0 marks for a ruck on 900k. You pay jeremy Cameron 900k, not a ruck. Cox and Cameron together prob take up 600k.

Millane played a whole finals series and starred.
I doubt very much it's a broken finger. Dislocation at worst.

Apologies, missed Preuss.

I wasn't saying contested marks are everything. Just pointing out that your claim of him being below par for every objective stat is hyperbolic rubbish.

I don't think Mason would hold his place if Kreuger was fit, but he does very clearly offer something.

Ginni via the twos and playing higher up the ground. I don't think he'll improve our forward line. Having smalls with electric pace plus the hardness of Adams looks fantastic.
I can’t see Ginnivan being anything but a deep 50 goal sneak.
Bobby has been a given second chance in life. He beat cancer. He has a young mouth to feed. He has hunger. Whilst Ginnivan effed around doing drugs, Bobby was doing a pre-pre season with his cousin from StKilda.
Ginnivan just handed over his job to Bobby on a platter.
I LOVE Bobby!! 👊👊👊👊

Injury aside the only question for mine is whether we want to give McInnes a full game and if so how that’s achieved (VFL or AFL).

I think you're lacking in imagination. Elite awareness and game sense. Clean as a whistle under pressure. His best is to come - as a mid.
Although I agree with you I see Hill as more of a mid. Ginni a little slow but elite at finding the goals.
