A pretty dreary 10 goal win. How nice to say that.
No injuries I think? Very rusty performance though. TMc will keep his spot; Petty didn't do himself any favours, but it's nice to have a swingman in the squad. Needs to find some campaigner though, played meekly. With Wright and Weird out not sure the Bombers will have many talls up front.
Bowey has had a pretty quiet start to the year. Might be on the block for Howes? JVR also pretty quiet stats wise but made lots of contests.
Laurie was best on at Casey but our small forwards were pretty good so hard to find a spot for him.

Visceral reactions:
Steven May need to leave the team as Jack Darling got hold of him once or twice.

Christian Petracca gets one final chance as today was an emotional day for Christians across the globe.

Brodie Gumby met his match today in Bailey Gumby like that episode where two Gumbys met.

Jack Viney really could’ve kicked his set shot to the pocket. Selfish but we lack inside mids.

Lever needs to shave his sideburns

Spargo seemed a bit frisky today, someone at the club needs to make sure he gets plenty of walkies and cops the spray bottle if he keeps humping the couch cushions.

Brayshaw he needs to try playing with his helmet on the right way around. I appreciate his religious beliefs and respect his right to wear a modesty garment but it seems highly impractical to play in the AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE without being able to see.

Gawn seems to have been missing since round 1. Delist.

Jayden Hunter I thought Lachie Hunt from the Eagles vastly outperformed in hitting Melbourne targets lace out, I’m not sure that the ‘er’ suffix worked this week.

Bowey - I thought some his kicking was not so wowey.

Jim Jones - the Koolaid seems a tad weaker this week.

Trent Rivers - I’m still thinking that he could be THE RISING STAR 💫

Tom McDonald - the SELECTION SQUEEZE could be on.

ANB - was more Nealy good than really good

Bayley Fritsch - I feel as though TOM MCDONALD would have kicked the GOAL AFTER THE SIREN.

Swallow starting to find his feet after crossing from THE GOLD COAST SUNS

Petty was poor. Could it be time to turn this SWINGMAN into a WINGMAN?

Chaminda - a quiet game from the CRICKET CONVERT 🇱🇰

Judd - was average

McVee - was slightly above average

Out: Steven, Gumby, Viney, Lever, Brayshaw (not due to religious beliefs), Gawn, Bowey, ANB, Fritsch, Judd, McVee

In: Salem, Laurie, Melksham, Schache, Tomlinson, Ford, Howes, Dunstan, Woewodin, Disco, Moniz-Wakefield

B: Hibberd - Disco - Howes
HB: Salem - Hunt - Swallow
C: Petty - Clangdon - Tomlinson
HF: Chaminda - Ford - Melksham
F: Pickett - JVR - Moniz-Wakefield
R: TOM MCDONALD - Rivers (RS) - Jones
I: Dunstan - Woewodin - JOSH SCHACHE - Oliver
Sub: Petracca

Weid will probably be concussed so he'll miss and Wright obviously injured, don't need Petty down back this week. I'd like to persist with him forward he isn't going to dominate every week. I trust him to play a role as a competitive KPF who just makes contests and gives us pressure at ground level way more than any of our actual KPFs.

Was looking forward to Weid doing nothing against us. :(

People calling for people calling for Sparrow to be dropped to realise its never happening need to realise it’s never happening.

You need to realise that despite you realising it that it wont be a realisation for me to stop asking you to realise it.

Leave Petty forward and work on not competing for the same space with TMac and Fritsch inside F50.

Seems to be a rotation between Petty and JVR and TMac as R2.

Throw any stats at me you want, Petracca an Petty are playing with such low confidence right now. Trac looks like a run of the mill player, his disposal is downright embarrassing and as soon as someone goes to tackle him it's like he gives up and let's himself be tackled. No power at all.

Petty like I said a month ago is playing piss weak footy. Playing like he doesn't wanna be out there

Unchanged unless Hibbo requires a rest due to his Achilles problems which sounds likely based on Goodwin’s press conference.

Hibbo would be the obvious matchup for Stringer though.

If Hibbo is out I’d give D.Turner a run over Tomlinson or Howes. Especially with Petty in the team starting forward and able to come back if another proper tall back is required.

Essendon looked to have one of Draper or Philips playing forward, then Jones and Langford along with Stringer. Only the resting ruck probably demands a proper tall defender. Jones despite his height is a lead up player and Langford and Stringer are really medium forwards.

I can’t see any reason to change from Jordon as the sub.

May is the ideal Stringer matchup.

Petty dropped or goes back to take the second Dons ruck.

Would love to see Howes take a back flank if Hibbo is no good.
