F: Melksham, van Rooyen, Spargo

Who can take a strong overhead mark?
Pickett can. Melk is one season too many, not Henderson's or Spargo's job, Fritsch and JvR haven't held one for a while.

Who can take a contested mark?
Pickett. Maybe Melk.

Who can pass the ball accurately (if/when they get the ball and assuming they decide to pass it on)?
Henderson, Pickett, Melk, Spargo

Who knows how to lead?
Pickett, Melk

Who would you trust the most to goal from a 50m set shot?
Pickett. (certainly not Mr. Onefromnine).

I could have asked other questions like "Who can take a chest mark?", but I skipped the obvious ones.

I think we need 3 of Tex, Fogarty, Keays, Thilthorpe, Riccardi, Hogan, Brown, Cameron ...

Coach is obviously in self preservation mode , relying on the veterans (and his favorites) to get him out of the mess he has created. Thankfully this match is not on FTA , so only embarrassing for the hardy souls that want to watch .
I wonder how the players at Casey(AFL listed)feel about good performances not being rewarded .

I'm happy to see we haven't filled out forward line with a bunch of tall plodders for once. Though honestly, none of JVR, Fritta or Melk really move any better than a generic tall forward anyway.

Now, the challenge of ball movement and game style. Can we find ways to isolate Melk, Fritta and Pickett? Can we get JVR moving on the lead? Or will we repeatedly bomb it on Spargo's head while he's three on one?

I mean, I think I know the answer. But I'm now genuinely curious to see just how useless out coaching panel might be.

If Goody thinks we're a chance to win he may just get rid of the extra man in D50 and even up the forward line numbers, if he doesnt then you know hes not trying to win games, just avoid losses this season.
