Non subscribers what's it say

Not ever going to subscribe to the Herald Sun, but please don't tell me this thumbnail indicates that they've named Brayshaw as the best kick at the club? :$

The AFL stat gurus explained the kick rating as the difference between a player’s expected hit rate and their actual hit rate.

“A negative kick rating indicates a player is not executing the kicks as well as the competition average, and a positive kick rating shows a player is hitting the target more often than the competition average,” Mobilio explained.

“We take into account the amount of pressure the player is under and what type of kick they are trying to pull off ,and can compare that to the competition average across the past 10 years to work out what the expected hit rate is for each kick.”

Chandler is our best (+17.1%) and 2nd in the league, Fritsch 3rd in league at 15.8%.

Brayshaw our only other player in the top 50, sitting 25th with a rating of +7.6%

Oliver's rating is -11.8% and he was called our specifically (with Dunkley) as a "star owning a negative rating"

Hawkins is #1.

Cats have 8 in the top 50
Brisbane, GWS and Sydney with 5

Absolutely shocked to be sitting here, almost like slamming the ball on a boot at stoppages didn't benefit your team

Shocked that Chandler and Fritsch are best and Oliver has a negative rating, almost like if you watched games you'd be able to recognise it.

You blokes need to take off your red and blue coloured glasses and actually watch a game instead of just reading the stat sheet :drunk:

No no, he has the most contested disposals in history he's never played a selfish or poor game in history and anyone who points that out is an idiot or moron.

Think my sarcasm detector got fixed reading this post, thanks TK!

If only Ollie Wines could be more unselfish and play better, he could be an even better player than Oliver is.

Anyone going up for the game or will be there?

Going up for my first game in Qld. Got a car up there, can you drive to the ground?
There is an easy to get into car park directly across from the ground. Go past the ground, do a U turn and enter paddock car park.
