Tex needs to go. As does the stupid 2nd ruck idea.
Lynch
Murphy
Atkins

In Frampton and Himmleberg. Fish to third tall replacing Lynch. Frampton to backline.
McAdam in for Murphy.
Schoenberg in for Atkins.

Jones in middle instead of B Crouch

Gawd this is a trainwreck.

Drop Lynch and Walker, bring in Hartigan and Frampton/Himmelberg, send McCasey forward, worth a shot.

Drop B. Crouch, bring in Gallucci, play Jones in the middle all game and use Gallucci as the half forward flank player.

Atkins out injured anywway, give a debut to Sholl. Seedsman out for.. what's left? McPherson is injured, maybe Davis?

When did McPherson get injured?

Out after 2 woeful weeks; Walker, Murphy, Lynch, maybe a Crouch, Laird , Kelly {maybe give another week after brain fuzz}

For Fkd sake pick someone who can play second ruck - it's embarrassing.

In Mcadam surely he's ready for a look has to offer more than Murphy

Are the Crows the kid that was really nice to your parents when they came around but really just a bit of a dick??

All senior players mention need to be dropped, the problem is you can’t drop them all at once, what I’m finding hard is who stays safe for 1 more week at least 3-4 need to go this week

Lots of changes needed, but there is a need to make sure we are fixing structural problems at the same time. Give the new guys a chance.

Well that's the chicken and egg moment. Are the players terrible because of structural issues, or are the structures terrible because of the players lacking hunger.

For me, I'm firmly in the players are the problem camp now. Been going on for too long and even the non-negotiables aren't there right now.

From nick's conference it sounded like our 2nds got beat up today?..anyone got the scores and bests?

Scores weren't kept - going by gold coasts summary. Sounded like we got belted though https://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/news/720012/what-we-learnt-scratch-match-v-adelaide

Lack of a 2nd ruck of my real description is going to make our jobs harder in the midfield reserves

F: McAdam Strachan Sloane
HF: Lynch Fogarty Jones
C: B.Crouch M.Crouch Mackay
HB: Smith Doedee Kelly
B : Sholl Talia MaCasey
R: O’Brien Laird Poholke
I: Hamill Brown McHenry Schoenberg

In: McAdam, Strachan, Mackay, Sholl, Poholke, Schoenberg
Out: Atkins (inj), Walker, Seedsman, Crocker, Keays, Murphy

Laird to play on Neale all game. See if he has something else to offer as his effectiveness in the back line is not what it was.

Strachan and O’Brien to swap in Ruck/FF and compete for the bomb forward all game. McAdam also offers something in the air. Give us some excitement!

Mackay to come back in for leadership and he could not possibly be worse than Seedsman or the two recruits that were meant to provide experience for the SANFL team.

Line ruled through Gibbs and Walker. A game or two later in the season if we have injury issues or need to play a cluster of games due to COVID fixturing.

We are so stale that we need to encourage anything that looks positive, despite the pain of getting smashed. Hamill showed glimpses of dash and class, MaCasey showed glimpses in leading his opponent to the ball - they’ll get better. Fogarty shows glimpses and is no worse performed than Walker or Lynch. Stick with Jones and McHenry. Must see if they are going to be leaders of our next midfield group or just bit players. Must have a look at as many players of the future as possible and just go with it. We’ve been hopeless and may as well commit to the full rebuild as I don’t think it will make a difference.

Strachan is soooo far off it

Ugly stuff..how can you promote players if they are struggling to be competitive at seconds level

It's really hard to see who to drop.

Just absolutely pounded in the midfield. Makes everywhere on the ground look bad.
Is our plan to handball it to players under pressure only?

I don't know how to fix it, but we have to start with the middle.
Getting a proper midfield coach would be a bloody good start..someone that can coach proper structures for the players on the list

Out- Laird (Omit), M. Crouch (Omit), Atkins (Inj), Lynch (Omit), Keays (Omit)
In- Frampton, McPherson, Poholke, Schoenberg, McAdam.

Unfortunately, we don't have a choice.

Still, seconds is rather individual in a way, as whilst the whole team struggled, there might be a couple of people who played well.

Like Doedee and Hamill in the 1s

At some stage this season we need to give Gallucci and Poholke a 5 week block otherwise they will carry no trade value .

We must explore the equity of our list .
From next week would be a good idea.

McAdam went ok.
