Smith, Keays, Doedee or Laird all good choices.
Smith is most experienced and has been consistent for years.
Doedee (1v1 defending) and Keays (disposal) both have big flaws in their game that would only be magnified by being captain
Laird was my favourite to take over after Walker until he had that 2 year period where he was consistently terrible.

Sloane for Hinge will be the only change. There won't be any unforced changes after that. If there was any I'd do, it's be Brown for Parnell but I highly doubt they'd do that. Frampton has no issues as both McAsey and Murray were poor in the SANFL.

Jesus I thought Rabbits blind rage for the Crouch brothers was bad. Kane on another level with the Frampton hate. Sleep with your mum did he.
Our team will go nowhere if we keep players of Frampton's ilk in the side.

Crouches can actually play decent footy.

I think McAdam and Gollant are too similar, so you could potentially replace Gollant with someone. Both are slight players who want to leap at the ball, but McAdam probably offers more defensive pressure.

TT if you want to go taller, or Rowe/Pedlar if you want to go smaller.
Geez people talk rubbish Gollant is 1cm shorter than Walker and jumps at full stretch. McAdam is 182 cm tall if that . I think Gollant is very important to our structure going fwd

Interesting that having one player (Hinge) out affected our structure significantly.

Meant Dawson had to play at half back the whole game. Was very good and his aerial work was timely but we missed those stints on the wing, possessions and runs in the forward half & pinging at the goals.

Sholl and Cook perhaps don't have the versatility to switch between roles at the moment so Dawson was Mr Fixit tonight. Credit to the coaches for adjusting and getting the result but I like the dynamism Hinge brings to the line up. Hopefully he's back soon
Agree on Hinge, a great pick up for bugger all, but I think that Cook will be much the better player.

That’s was a fine and tough effort from a kid playing his 7th game or so today. Cook is an excellent powerful kick, he rarely fumbles and he is evasive on receiving the ball to create time/space for disposal of the ball.
