All credit to Blair to play so many games. I did a look up at his games missed since 2011 to 2016 and the net result was 8 games missed..

Agree would've preferred to have kept Aish in over the very vanilla 100% uncontested Smith. Would've also been good to have Dunn in to provide us some flexibility with moving Reid forward.

If I were choosing between Dunn and Schade to play on Franklin I would go with Dunn.

Regardless - it is going to have to be a team effort to stop or contain Buddy.

Goldsack played well on Riewoldt last week, maybe he will get a go.

Yep, just to clarify the statement was a general one. At times last year he didn't get dropped despite not playing well.
FWIW I gave him votes last week in the Didaka trophy.

Who have we played on Bud in the past ? He runs and runs, physically strong but doesn't dominate in the contested marking situ. One of the more puzzling questions about tomorrow night. Reid on Reid ? Howe on Reid ? Can't see Goldy going with Bud, he'll run Tyson off his feet. Maybe you're right about Henry...

Like I said the other day, I can only ever remember Frost doing a good job on Buddy and thought Schade was a similar sized player with pace that could go with him. That point was quickly lost with pedantic bullshit and people wanting to put the boots to Frost. Thankfully some people could see the simple point I was trying to make.

Definitely a pick up in speed with the ins and outs
I don't think Aish is unlucky at all. Hasn't shown enough desire to contest for the pill, and is too slow for a midfield role. I still maintain he and smith should compete for small back role ( GC that is aimed at you)
Blair unlucky as gives more than Mayne who has been hopeless to date.varcoe to half back , smith to mid role replacing Aish and greenwood and sidey to rotate fed and mid please
Hopefully buddy has a flat tyre on the M1 as no one in our 22 capable of stopping him kicking a bag on his 250th

1WBKicked five goals one day in 2011 against Carlton. Not a lot since.
2RichTotally ineffective for the second week running. Give Daicos a game.

Well Greenwood is Different Type of Player and Varcoe plays Different Role to Aish.

I say Greenwood can come in for Crisp and Varcoe for Blair

Still a very versatile player that we need. Hopefully he has a good run with injuries that hampered him last year and we get a good year or so out or him. I don't know how much he has left in the tank but I feel he shows the younger guys how to go about it.

Not sure how many watched the 2's at Punt road before the seniors last week.

Cox doesn't deserve a spot in the 1's. Was mediocre, had little to no impact, and even looked out of his depth at times. If you want an extra tall, bring in Dunn and send B.Reid forward and play Schade on Buddy, Dunn on S.Reid with Howe helping out on both. Cox is not the answer.

Crocker really earned a go in the 1's from last week. Solid marking, solid goal kicking and looked a step above everyone else on the field. Was pretty much the only positive out of the game. Kirby showed signs too but didn't get enough of it and has well documented fitness issues.

Broomhead? You're an idiot!
