The infatuation on this forum for players like Broomhead and Sharenberg is ridiculous. He had a crap game last week, he has maybe played 1 or 2 AFL standard games while he has been at the club. So overrated its borderline insanity. You realise he would probably fetch a 4th rounder at best from another club? He seems to only be rated by Collingwood fans and no one else.

Thought Broomhead did a few good things, but regarding the last part, Broomhead has absolutely tore the VFL a new one on a few occasions. I recall one game I went to in 2015 when he kicked 3 and had 40+ touches.

Untrue. Adelaide fans were very keen on aquiring him last year before he re-signed. He wouldn't command much currency because of his injury history, but anyone who knows footy can see his talent. All he needs is a consistent run at it, like he did before his shoulder injury.

Once again, garbage. Broomhead has had multiple 30+ possession, BOG games in the VFL. If you watched any VFL you'd know he is a class above at the level. Conversely, people who actually watched the game last week reported that while Crocker had a good game, he was still very scratchy and looked like he needed more time to get some touch back. Broomhead on the other hand, was best on ground in his VFL game and looked a class above from every report.

You would be correct; while crocker looked good, there was that sharpness that is still a little bit away a week or two more in the VFL should have him primed to make a serious case for senior selection.

Stats say otherwise. I don't actually rate Aish, i just think people rate Broomhead way to high for a bloke who has had less return than the apparently inferior James Aish.
