Hows Corbett been for peel? I thought he shown enough during that game he was sub.

(To my understanding) A very good marker of the footy, something that was also demonstrated in a small sample size when he was sub. However, has some serious yips once he marks it in scoring distance: 6.11 in 6 games for Peel (and I recall a few non-scoring shots too). Idk how his field kicking is outside scoring range, but he can also tend to make iffy reads when passing up a shot (probably because of said yips). Accuracy was also an area of inconsistency at AFL level, but I don't think quite as bad as it has been for Peel.

Runs hard and plays above his size, so could be one that can come in, know his role and help the team. Wouldn't count on him to stay in the team though.

The bloke has kicked 14 goals and 6 behinds this season and 28 goals and 14 behinds last season.

I have a feeling he will get 12-15 disposals and kick 2 or 3 goals

Does anyone know if footy clubs get access to additional footage outside the tv cast? I only go to a game every now and then but you really do get 10 times the information on watching players if you watch them live compared to TV. Clubs have to get extra info right because TV footage doesnt tell you much on how a player actually performed.

I'd be in a minority of die hard losers but I'd pay money to get access to like a F50 camera to really be able to watch the little things forwards or backs do.

I would be 99.9% certain they do. The footage exists and shows like First Crack often have zoomed out behind goal vision for example to show an analysis.

yep clubs at the very least get access to behind the goals footage

Yep, I believe there are 4 fixed cameras. 1 at each end and 1 on each wing that don't get used for TV coverage but can be sourced for tactical. The AFL has them for off the ball incidents etc.

6 frees for, 8 frees against and 6 goal assists for the year so far. Those numbers need to change.

I am sure they do, but all clubs get access to it. Clubs can't take there own footage.

They also get all the angles from the tv. Not just the one you see live.

Having seen him play a bit at Peel your assessment is spot on , he is a good mark for his size but has a bad case of the yips Maybe a move to the back line is the answer
We should be using Peel games to try players in different positions and improve their flexability (try Wagner or Wilson on the wing or maybe Ras can play HBF)

I assume maybe the mix up is the 12 day period? I haven't seen the tribunal stuff so don't know but I'm thinking it's the 12 day period which is 2 weeks but he will actually be available for the game?
