Forward line will stay the same. I still think the biggest issue comes down to the midfield. We broke even this week and won. Even with the same forwards from last week. Sonny is so important.

Worth noting that while we "fixed" our clearance game, we got smoked on contested ball by a side that isn't exactly known for it's contested play (afaik).

Adelaide's midfield isn't amazing either but we really need Switta and Aish to continue to contribute throughout the season while potentially giving someone like Johnson a few intermittent minutes.

Brayshaw was a bit lost today.

I'd be offended with that comment if I was Jack Anthony

Your over polishing his efforts and effectiveness , he is garbage . His lack of efforts as a big man probably cost us 15 scoring passages

He cost us 15 scoring passages and I made up his 6 scoring involvements?

Tabs wasn't one of our best and he wasn't one of our worst.

  • As vice chairman of the tabs disliking committee, I'm going to say he has to stay in. He did a ton of work out of play working as a foil. Can't think of anyone else doing that role. He ain't kicking many in that role bit amiss can't take the biggest defender yet.
  • As vice chairman of the Henry supporters club it's a tricky one, he's kind of doing the things he used to be bad at better and doing the things he's supposed to be good at worse. I'm scared to drop him Incase he falls of a massive hole.
  • Sean Darcy I'm sorry I called you fat.
  • Is brayshaw carrying something?
  • Johnson looks the goods, a little tentative at the contest. He should stay in as sub.
  • Hughes is fine playing a negative role, you always know the most boring thing will happen with ball In hand.

A lot of positives today but not very confident against Adelaide. Hopefully we can build on this performance and carry the confidence into this game. Johnson needs to stay and Walker needs to come in.

Yes, you can see the difference when switta is delivering to the forwards, and even Schulz compared to brayshaw and serong. Big difference

I'm concerned that Brayshaw has Oestitis Pubis or something.. seems to have none of that agility that we all know he has in spades.

Johnson delayed handball that set up the goal showed more awareness and nous than a far few of his peers have displayed in 10+ games.

Regarding the bolded part. Those things that he's supposed to be good at. We all know what they are meant to be. But has he actually shown that he's good at them at all up until this point? Seems almost theoretical at this point.

Thought Hughes made a concerted effort to move things on a bit faster today and it his decision making deficiencies werent glaringly obvious

As chairman of the get Hughes out committee I thought he was good today.

The thing with Tabs for me is he just looks like he can barely move and at nearly 30, is there any point sticking with him? He’d probably give more than Treacy but if Fyfe was available I’m sure as **** not dropping Amiss.

Fyfe to the middle would solve some issues I suppose but I don’t think his body can survive it

After a win how many changes would the selection committee be likely to make? Bugger all that's what.

If Chapman is out they may likely make Johnson starting 22. There's an argument Henry might be dropped for Brodie but even that's a long shot.

Personally, I think Brodie being dropped was meant to 'fire a rocket' rather than be a permanent thing. But he might not be back unless we lose again.

Sturt and Treacy aren't getting a go until they've built up a body of work in Peel (which pisses me off to no end).

We’re almost at the point where we may need to put Fyfe in the midfield. We’ve been getting bullied around the contest and we could desperately use some size and strength around the ball

I like Hughes to defense and Henry out, but do we have any wings at all in reserve ?

Johnson played on the wing when he came on. He should come in for Henry.

Aish could do some wing time again.

could walker come in for Chappy, add some pace.

if Fyfe is fit he probably comes in, rather than walker. Walker as sub.
