Yeah also was going to add thisTabs was actually crucial in some of those goals, strong body work on certain defenders allowed Jackson to take that mark late and did it a few other times. I get he's not kicking the goals and looks slower with age, but I wouldn't drop him based off that performance. Was it great?! No, probably not. But it wasn't poor either, it was serviceable - used his experience in moments to allow Amiss and others to come into the game. Should have kicked his set shot at the bare minimum. He'll get goals, the whole side is a work in progress and will gel eventually....better peaking in Aug/Sept anyway, right?! Plenty of time to go ladies & gents. We need Tabs out there, even if it's doing 1%ers. It was VERY important today and these things often go unnoticed. He draws a good defender. Remember Walters was a bit like this at the start of last season and built into his season as it went along.
As for changes I've got nfi, haha
As chairman of the get Hughes out committee I thought he was good today.
The thing with Tabs for me is he just looks like he can barely move and at nearly 30, is there any point sticking with him?
Yeah I agree. There were some moments where his f50 delivery lace out to the wce defender cost us scoring opportunities, but he was also a factor in a lot of our goals today even if he didn't kick his own. I don't think treacy would have had the same impact as Tabs today.Tabs was actually crucial in some of those goals, strong body work on certain defenders allowed Jackson to take that mark late and did it a few other times. I think that’s fair but I do think Fyfe can and would provide at least as much as Tabs did today. I thibk he is still our best key forward but it’s not by much and if Fyfe is available next week it’s going to be some tough calls. Amiss has to play every week unless he needs a restThe point is he's currently our best key forward and we aren't rebuilding any more, we are trying to win premierships.
The only person who could replace Taberner in the current team is Fyfe and I don't think anyone (including the match committee) believes that Fyfe would do a better job at that particular role. Treacy might be able to in the the future but currently he looks totally lost.
Hope they have got the turnovers out of Walkers game if he plays backline again though.Changes:
It will probably just be Walker in for Chapman.
However:
If Fyfe is fit there's a chance we bring Fyfe in to the midfield rotation (rotating with Switkowski out of the forward line) and send Aish back to cover Chapman's role.
Hughes was good today. I feel like we have plenty of players capable of taking the game on if they want, but Hughes has shown composure over the last few games, and his defensive efforts are defintely needed. We're down a defender though with Chappy so Walker will probably come in anyway. Probably a better match for the Adelaide smalls too, but I'm happy to persist with Hughes at the moment.Would like to see Hugh's move out of the way for walker.
Get the run and carry play on stuff that he is good at and that we need.
i'm too lazy to find the source but i'm pretty sure we are - seem to recall bell mentioning that we'd asked to stay over for it/have the fixture line up that wayAre we hubbing over there for rounds 4 and 5?
Henry (particularly pre Chappy being subbed off) was spending a decent number of CBAs starting forward so could be room to move the magnets, particularly as brayshaw and JOM had a few more on the wing then normal I thinkI don’t know if that works on balance though I’m all for more Switta mid time and Freddy wing time
Hughes also seems a logical choice for a hard-ish tag on DawsonHughes was good today. Not going to happen.Johnson in for Hughes
Fyfe in for Tabs
Sturt in for Henry
Erasmus as sub
Based on the first 3 games. All poor performances. If you look at the evidence the evidence says that. Hope they prove me wrong but based on the three games no chance. Why should we be belted?
Tabs is actually fast. He ran all day.As chairman of the get Hughes out committee I thought he was good today.

Fyfe to the middle would solve some issues I suppose but I don’t think his body can survive it
huh? What to do about Henry? The guy gets the ball, then goes second guessing every freaking disposal. Need to be more instinctive anencephaly play the first basic option. Goddamn. Hughes is a better winger when he does those stupid kicks/disposals.
In: Walker, Johnson
Out: Chapman, Henry.
Adelaide play an open game style, which Fremantle love.Based on the first 3 games. All poor performances. If you look at the evidence the evidence says that. Hope they prove me wrong but based on the three games no chance.
Autocorrect. It’s fixed.huh?
Look, I didn’t like the 3rd quarter but I think that’s a pretty pessimistic outlook on todays game and Adelaide are 1-2 as wellBased on the first 3 games. All poor performances. If you look at the evidence the evidence says that. Hope they prove me wrong but based on the three games no chance.
