The problem is the rules have now changed that this is a problem. Choose to bump, you wear the consequences of that bump. Here Dixon, chooses to bump, it resulted in the opponents head hitting the ground and getting a concussion, so therefore he gets a careless, high contact (head hitting the ground), severe impact rought conduct charge.
I'd hardly classify that contact as a 'bump'. It was barely a push.

So if you mildly push a bloke in the side to lever him out of the way so you can get the ball whilst he is off balance, and he subsequently trips over his own feet and his head hits the ground, and he gets concussed - you get an automatic 3 game suspension?

If he hit him high, or sling tackled him so he hits his head on the ground with ferocity, I can grudgingly accept that.

We'll be playing Touch Football soon FFS.

I don't care in the slightest about Dixon being out for three weeks (if anything it's a good thing) but three weeks for that is legitimately hilarious.

Friendly reminder that Luke Hodge got two weeks for attempting to decapitate Wingard against the point post.
The biggest problem with Charlie getting 3 weeks is that they will use it as an excuse for Ken.

Not doubting you, just unable to comprehend this rule. :confusedv1:

Much as Dixon has past his prime, that bump is not worth a 3 week suspension.
1 week maybe, two tops.
The quicker we exit this tinpot league the better.
the PAFC never wanted to stay in the SANFL, its was the SANFL who made it a term of the licence or they would never have allowed the AFL licence. Funny how times change

lol in one of their never ending attempts at being petty campaigners they’ve tried to hurt us and instead helped us.

I said this at the time

If any of those ****wits at the sanfl had half a brain they would quote that old geezer about not interrupting your enemy while he’s making a mistake. They’ve ensured we can’t pick Dixon for the next 3 matches. Lol, ****ing morons saving us from ourselves

Who cares, I do.
How about you post your own opinion instead of quoting others :)
charlie is such a personification of this club over the past 10 years, all huff and puff, all show, all talk and little substance. The better all the hinkley lovers are gone the better

Well, there goes any chance of dixon winning the Magarey medal. But if he could play like he was built, then he could still give the Ken Farmer medal a shake, joining illustrious company with the likes of Hodges, Tylor and Eddy 😉

A solid month of hooning around the Adelaide Hills in his Chux Grudge vehicles is a better freshen up than Hinkley's idea of 'player management' he should take the positives out of it.
