Chip leaked the Asada report ?

I reckon somebody should interview this Dank character as part of this investigation.

What if he said many times the only place he'd talk is court?

I thought Grant Baker wouldn't mind me putting his article in Chip's thread, seeing as they are both writing for the same spin doctor on a rotating basis:)

Oh....and Auskadi Hardie gets a run too as an expert and a close observer of the Essendon case lol.

This campaign of spin and lies and continual empty threats by EFC has almost done as much damage to the Club as sticking thousands of needles of "who knows what" in their players guts.

I love this thread. And Chip's typically incisive article.

There have been so many fairy tales spun by the spinners and the lawyers.

At last! We have a no shit fairy godmother who turns an ugly pumpkin into a beautiful carriage with a wave of the magic wand! Shit hot.
oh but dont we luv the hagiography an d apotheosis of Vlad as he leaves. Was he running a book at Trinity? explains things. Him and Tom Waterhouse, two peas in an Anne Geddes photograph skipper kelly

A couple of things (based on this article holding merit):

- One being it's good to see Essendon still fighting innocence, well done on that.
- And two "Deakin University School of Law lecturer Martin Hardie". Well what he thinks is void, we already know from another thread academics and their opinions don't mean shit.

Money usually gets people doing things
I don't think you understand the legislation. The legislation compels Dank to attend an interview, not talk - he could sit in silence. It also compels him to produce documents, which he's signed an affidavit stating he has none.

There is NO way you can force someone to "talk"

I do think they should have compelled him to appear though, and then if he said nothing they could say that they'd done everything they could to get his side of the story.

and how do you suppose that would happen - physically forcing someone to talk ?

the fax said it all.

"i have nothing for you."

In the land of Essendonia, it appears they have convinced themselves that ASADA were given a Guantanamo Bay style facility.

Dank knows he holds the cards, and thinks this sport palava is frankly below him, just some jfk krushechev brinkmanship or brinksmanship pending speeling anal ness

Dank thinks he holds all the cards.

That's the point.

Any buffoon can see through the moronic lies that constitute the defense as Chip presented it.

It is laughable.

"um...we didn't inject the stuff we have records, invoices and dosage instructions for. Um..the sun "fried" that stuff. Um...we injected this stuff that no-one made and there are no invoices or dosage instructions for".

lol stuff that indeed any buffoon would scoff at.

Thats quality Terry!

yeah well, more mentions in the press, his PED Q rating goes up for his business.

That I will certainly agree with.

His life ban from Australian sport will be the best free PR ever.

can someone please ask themselves why young men would allow themselves to be injected, and inject themself. is this not the elephant?

no more replies to this thread, if you cannot answer this question yourself.

as jan ullrich said, if you cant put 2 and 2 together, i cant help you

i cant help you

and if you think the individuals, and they are individuals, at windy hill are any different, you are wrong. they are the same, but under different livery. this is just the manifestation of tribal rivalries, it has zero understanding about the individuals and their motives. epithets such as cheats and criminals are unedifying, leave them at the door

tho i will make an exception for MaddAdam cos his snark is humorous.

They were naive.

I didn't realise you had replaced Chief

Reading a piece on Hersh and Syria and came across this gem, which I think could be applied to much of the shenanigans in this whole case, and certainly Essendon's current approach:

Propaganda usually functions on one of two tracks: sometimes it builds support for a desired policy, sometimes it saps support for an undesired one. The former relies on persuasion, the latter on obfuscation. “Doubt is our product” is the assurance PR firms in the 1950s gave to a jittery tobacco industry facing accumulating scientific evidence linking cigarettes to cancer. Energy companies wishing to impede environmental legislation have since invested in the same strategy. This is also Hersh’s method.

Doubt is often a useful check against the error of unqualified belief. Skepticism is healthy. But when it ossifies into a will to disbelieve, it feeds paranoia.

The article seemed, to me anyway, to imply that the player did play for one of those clubs but left just before or after the drugs were being taken.

As I said, feel free to search for the article yourselves if you think I'm making it up or drawing the wrong conclusions. March 24th 2013, The Daily Telegraph.

I am more interested that Earl states that Dank was involved with Penrith Panthers - Though the Panthers will run away at a million miles per hour These guy Dank has his fingerprints everywhere.

So The NRL issue Earl an infraction notice with one of the charges being trafficking. After 10 months, the ADRVP put Earl on the ROF, but drop the trafficking charge, Then the NRL tribunal still wants to try Earl for trafficking. What is happening ?
