Oh that is awful. I can't imagine how his gf and family are feeling what about the person who spiked his drink? I'm not sure how any friend could do that even as a joke.

Technically it's manslaughter or at least GBH so he might face criminal charges. He'll have to live with it for the rest of his life though.

My god Luke, thats horrible- ****... and same with Dee cant even imagine what the family is going thru. Spiking someones drink as a "joke" is ****ing ridiculous- I fail to see the funny side of that, even if the person does survive it.

What a ****ing ****wit. I'm sorry he deserves to be charged with something... what a ****ing moron.

Yeah, it's very stupid and he'll have to live for the rest of his life knowing he killed a mate of his. No doubt he will spend time in jail as well for manslaughter as a result of his incredible stupidity.
 
It's so scary to think some stranger could spike your drink in a club or something. (altho you wouldnt expect it from a mate).... see Ninty corona is good for something- is a bit hard to get a pill or liquid in the top of that. :p



Off topic... did anyone happen to catch that doco on channel 2 last night about the assassination of JFK? Was so interesting- its like cause we didnt grow up with it, we only know it as those still shots of him in the back of the convertible- this doco showed the day leading up to the shooting and then what happened afterwards.

LOL at some of these lines by the commentators back then:

-"It seems like John F Kennedy will shoot thru onto his next engagement" (poor choice of word there lol)
- "Dallas wont see a welcoming like this for a President for years to come" (yeah no shit- especially not this President)

and there was also audio of Jackie Kennedy speaking to the new inducted President on the phone on Air Force One and she addressed him as "Mr President"- like her husband was president like only hours ago ffs...

So sad.

I've had a drink spiked at the casino.
By pure fluke I decided to get out of there before I knew it. So i was in a cab on the way home when it hit. Totally ****ed me over.

I saw that Shell. She didn't seem too disturbed by it at all.
Gee they didn't muck around in getting him out of Texas.

How well did LHO speak? He was so calm and calculated. Either he didn't do it, or he was completely insane.

Wish he didn't get shot. They were going to lynch him. Would have been good to watch.

Yeah I know, I guess she may have still been in shock at that time??? Also people of that "kind"- like America's "royalty" in a way, would have been expected to act in a professional way at all times I suppose.

They didnt muck around, I think he was shot around midday??? And was pronounced dead very soon after- I guess when you get shot in the face/head you're chances of survival are very slim (unlike the guy next to him who was shot in the upper chest and lived).


OH check out this freaky fact too- the weather in Dallas had been really bad leading up to the day, but then cleared up in time for the parade thru the streets. Therefore they put the top down on the convertible. Imagine had the weather NOT cleared up, they would have keep the roof on, and he probably would have lived. Sooky...

Lee Harvy guy is that who you mean by LHO??? Yeah what a nutjob- one thing i didnt get from the doco was who killed him??? And isnt there a 2nd gunman theory on the whole JFK thing, cause the way he threw his head forward, means he was shot from the back..... :confused:
 
If TV has taught me anything if a normal person is falsely accused/arrested for murder they are likely to freak out and lose their shit (because they be innocent, yo). A guilty person is more likely to be calm & in control and choosing their words carefully.

Ah what was that German movie about surveillance in post WW2 Germany ... oh, the life of others! They talk about that for questioning people to know if they are guilty or innocent by whether they flip out or not.
 
Well they actually locked people up for days and continually asked them the same question over and over, so perhaps they were actually torturing them knowing an innocent person would eventually flip out and start screaming they didnt do it where as a guilty person would stay calm!

East Germany communists trying to weed out free thinkers. It makes a lot more sense in the movie.

Hey have you seen the movie "The Experiment". Its about this group of civillians who take part in an experiment- some are wardens, some are prisoners, and in like a few days the wardens turn psycho and almost kill some of the prisoners.

Very entertaining. :thumbsu:
 
No I have heard about that from several people though. I have been meaning to watch it though, good reminder.

I used to have a pool when I was a kid in donny. Now as an old person I don't even have air con. ahhh shit.
 
Yeah its really good (and scary too, to think it happened in real life).... the guards get so up themself- epecially how they are to refer to the prisoner as a "number" and not a name- thus lessening in their eyes they are human. But which they are- and they arent even real prisoners, they havent committed any crime...



Ugh yeah I got no air con either. Bloody flatmate said she was going to put it in years ago but still nothing, sif I am going to put up some money to do that, esp if I move out in a year or two.

Just caught myself using three computers and an iphone all at once for work. Interesting.
 
I had subway yesterday at south wharf and it was disgusting.. I'm not sure I was in a picky mood and only got teriyaki lettuce cheese and tomato no sauce couldn't get it toasted cos it was broken and yeah all up the way the guy made it and shit I dunno I couldn't even finish it. So not sure I'll get subway for a while... And seafood sensation sounds a bit scary actually... Once I had cucumber and it tasted chemically was grosse. And just heard another explosion at greymouth nz apparently it's impossible for anyone to be alive or survive.. That's sad I thought they mite find some survivors like in chile
