U2 probably give specific instruction on ticket pricing because they are do gooders. The rest of them we'd never know if it is the artist's extravagant appearance fee or the promoter/organiser fleecing the shit out of the public. But one way or another ... the place sells out so they can justify it somehow.

Hey guys, any coffee lovers here? Got the new deloghni machine today and dam it makes fantastic coffees! It uses pods and self heats and froths the milk as well.
If anyone is in the market highly recommended!

My espresso machines water pump stopped working proper after maybe 4 months. It was a decent one too, faith in such machines has wavered.

Actually ... shit yes, once I'm drunk tomorrow night I'm gonna take it apart and try to fix it. Solid reminder archilino.

I must embarrassingly admit I am chuckling a bit at some of the jokes about Qatar (is that how you spell it?) on the General Board.

What a bunch of shit, voted out in first round. As IF they were going to give the World Cup to us. Its all about the corruption. It's all a conspiracy.

And archy, I am drinking nescafe out of a polysterine cup atm. Does that qualify me as a coffee lover? :D

LOL at this:

"the opening ceremony will dazzle audiences as suicide bombers a strapped with fireworks and C4 will light up the sky"

"instead of flares and paper thrown on the pitch dynamite and dirty turbans

Also just a quick question- how does one air condition a massive stadium. Where we cannot air condition a train here? Seriously, that is horseshit, as if you can adequately cool a 100,000 seat stadium, please someone enlighten me i would love to know...

I figure it will be the same way that they air condition or heat the indoor stadiums in america ... except with five times the power. Powwwerrrrr!!! Not like they'd be lacking any oil.

Clearly global warming is a big issue for FIFA approving such extravagent air conditioning requirements.

Our public transport is shit. Everyone will catch the train be it late, hot, overcrowded or full of Collingwood supporters on their way home after winning a prelim.

It is pretty embarrassing in the end. South Korea and Japan got a heap more votes than we did and they HOSTED the thing in 2002. Then getting so many votes to host it again compared to us is ergh.

I'm sure whoever gave us the 1 vote meant to write down 'Austria' :D

Yeah I was a little disappointed
Myself. I can't believe we didnt even last one round!! How pathetic
Like everyone has said money
Talks and Australia didn't do that.. It's just annoying, I would not in a million years go to Qatar unless someone paid me for it... Its crazy to think that they would be hosting the cup in those temperatures.. How can u even get air conditioners to work in that heat.. Also means skilled won't be redeveloped like we hoped.. And did u hear qatar will move all the stadiums to other countries after the world
Cup?? Seriously that's a joke.. Maybe they should keep the stadiums and develop youngsters considering they are ranked 100 something in the world and now they will automatically qualify pfft makes me angry!!!

LOL, I didnt hear that about the stadiums moving.

Shotgun a stadium!!!! I'll have one- it'll be nice having a stadium in my backyard. :D:thumbsu:

What sort of show will we see at your stadium ?

And whilst it would have been financially good for oz, at least the football season carries on as usual, the only downside is , was prepared to rent out our 3 spare bedrooms if we had the cup to some lovely young damsels in distress :D

Whoa.
It's an awesome thing they are doing.
It's about the only thing that makes sense to me.

To build 20 stadiums and then rip them down and reconstruct them in 3rd world countries is an unbelievable legacy.
