Vic st on saturday = AVOID

I do not drive down Vic st under any circumstances ever. If I need to go somewhere on Vic I drive down Johnstone and park on a side street. It is mostly asian market shops, lots of people, lots of trams, lots of cars trying to park blocking the single lane each way and it is feeding from Vic pde which handles twice as many cars.

Hey guys, for those talking about playing tennis how about we have a hit on a tennis court at Melbourne Park?????

If we can make it a weekday, their prices are $26 for an outdoor court- if we can get 4 people together for maybe two hours hire that works out only $13 each.

Not bad. :thumbsu:

55 dollars to go goldcoast Hrmm?? Anyway I can't believe u don't drive much shell.. I hate the city but I prefer driving than transport regardless of how much I'm cursing at traffic and ppl. Anyway yeah i would avoid vic St too even though it's prob the easiest to remember and get there. But there's so many trams, ppl crossing etc anyway goodlcuk just print out some pics from google. Or pull over if ur lost

Lol, i drive everyday Dee just not in the city is all. Anyway, from where I am its pretty easy- unlike you coming from Sunshine would be more of a pain.

Omg, check out what happened to Stripey yesterday- his train just stopped dead at Dandenong Station everyone was ordered off the train. Everyone just sitting there waiting wtf is going on- platform getting mroe crowded my the minutes. Announcment- "police operation, next train to Pakenham will be 50 minutes away" everyone was getting really agitated... then they announce a replacement bus to berwick.

Cue a mass stampede to get on the bus- but then the bus driver goes "i cant take you to Berwick direct i have to go my normal route"- which is AN HOUR!!!!! So the numnuts drives to Dandenong Shopping Centre- and stops at the bus stop there- to tell people they cant get on the bus its full.

How ****ing dumb do you have to be.

So people at the stop are yelling at the bus driver cause they cant get on (remember its stinking hot day), THEN this African woman gets trapped in the door at the back, yelling in pain- Stripey (who is near the bus driver) is yelling at him to shut the door, but it cant close, so the lady was stuck there for 5 minutes while these men forceably shut the door to get her out!!!!

So yeah by the time Phil gets home i get to hear all about it, im telling him to get a car and he comes up with the idea to get a motorbike!!!!!!

Dear lord.....

Welcome to the joys of the public transport system shell, what you described happens quite often in the east, south east especially. A major reason why i havent been on any public trasport for over a decade.

BTW rumor has it your in the south east scouting potential xmas party locations for planet gfc bigfooty, great to see you searching in my neck of the woods!

Yeah poor Stripey has put up with alot of shit from that line- so many horror stories it takes him so long to get home.

I've only ever done the trip twice to Pakenham on the train, and both times i had no trouble I was lucky!!!! :D

But yeah driving on the weekend, makes so much more sense.

I just hope I dont end up in Sydney.

Haha the driver probably shat himself when a thousand people piled on the bus at the station. Obviously it was just co-incidence the bus was there, blame Metro for not chartering a proper bus to move people between stations.

Hey everyone..... sup? :)

And Ninty, cant attend your little party thingy- will be in Apollo Bay that week/weekend. :(

On a positive note tho- I was chatting to a workmate about playing tennis one time- he says we can have full access to his tennis club if we want- indoor courts at Maryibrnong- for FREE. So scratch playing at Melb Park, if we can organise a time with him we can go there. :thumbsu:

Crikey, its not like I'm insulting electoral workers here! I was actually trying to make a sarcastic jibe at myself the MCC member living in Kew.

Okie doke... sorry I did not get that.

Not that that's unusual for me- to "not get stuff".

PS. Hahah stuff you Vue Grand, have found nice accomodation in city for like $89 just before xmas. Might get that for Stripey birfday and go see Harry Potthead Gold Class. Dam it sucks having your birthday on xmas day, feel so sorry for him...

Wow that would suck, not so much as an adult but as a kid you are SHAFTED. With a capital shaft.

You see if you buy him one present and tell him its for both bday and christmas, well I'm sure he's heard that his whole life so he'd be used to it :p
