At those who want to vent your frustrations at Chris - By all means - however dont let this tragic event Ruin your BigFooty experience... TRY to stay within the rules...

i mean, is an accused Murderer really worth getting yourself banned for?

As much as people are venting their anger over whats happened, nobody really knows what was going on inside his head. Just before people have a crack at me thinking what he did was ok, I want to say I dont agree at all with what he did, its nothing short a disgrace

But there are 2 scenerios on offer here:

Things may have driven him to insanity. 20 + years on a non stop schedule, wrestling was his life. If its true in the past year he thought someone was out to get him and his family, obviously there are some big problems with his head. Possibly thinking "I'll get us before they do". If its true he didnt believe in God why would he have bibles next to his wife and son? They were killed upstairs.. maybe meaning they should go to heaven. He killed himself in the basement, and thought he must go to hell.

The other one is he did it in full control and should be ridiculed forever for the gutless act he committed.

Finally regardless of this news Chris Benoit should always be regarded as a champion of the ring.

RIP to Nancy and Daniel.

Chris, unless you were insane, youve let down all the wrestling fans who knew you and adored you and have tarnished your name forever.

Heard on the 11:00 channel ten and win news that Benoit strangled his wife on friday then smothered his son in his bed on saturday and left bibles next to the bodys, then hung himself in his weights room on sunday without a suicide note, they also said it might not have had anything to do with steroids

I've purposely waited to know what happened before commenting.

now I know, Chris Benoit you are a low ****ing piece of sh1t and I don't believe in religion but on days like this I do hope there is a hell.

Shut the **** up you moron.

Feel for many people in this.......

Benoit's surviving children. Great for them knowing if they had been unlucky enough to live with their dad.........

Vince....did the right thing at short notice, and now has major egg on his face. The fact the sensationalists have taken the roid angle just reflects even worse on the WWE. They caused it, AND then ran a tribute to a murderer according to some now.

Many of the locker room who Chris would have been like family to. We're finding it hard enough to comprehend a hero has done this. Imagine if it was someone you put your life in the hands of in the ring, and was as close as a brother.

Also, many of the guys who posted tributes o nthe Raw special....would probably love ot retract their words right now, I haven't seen the feed, but can only imagine all the comments about him being a loving family man.

good to see you support Child Killers. you are just as low as Chris "Child Killer" Benoit.

If you gonna make comments like this take them to another thread. Knowone here is in any position to make a comment on this. We have no idea of the state of mind Chris was in, for all we know he would have had know idea what he done.

I just read the update a few minutes ago. I have to say I suspected as much yesterday when I first posted in this thread, but I wasn't sure who was responsible.

What can I say? Just reprehensible. There must be a lot of confused and bewildered people associated with him right now.

He took his time and was calculated about it. The lowest form of human Being there is, but you can still support him. Says alot about you.

On Saturday, June 23, Chris Benoit was slated to appear at a WWE live event in Beaumont, Texas. That afternoon, Benoit contacted WWE to inform them that his wife and child were ill, and that he would not be able to attend the show.

WWE executives rebooked Benoit’s flight for the following morning, allowing Benoit to miss the Beaumont event making alternate arrangements for him to attend the pay-per-view event in Houston on Sunday.

WWE employees attempted to confirm with Benoit his travel plans but were unable to contact him.

Early Sunday morning, between 3:51 and 3:58 a.m., Benoit sent five text messages to co-workers:

Text Message 1 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53am)- Chris Benoit’s cell phone
“My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane, Fayetteville Georgia. 30215”

Text Message 2 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53am)- Chris Benoit’s cell phone
“The dogs are in the enclosed pool area. Garage side door is open”

Text Message 3 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:54am)- Nancy Benoit’s cell phone
“My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane. Fayetteville Georgia. 30215”

Text Message 4 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:55am)- Nancy Benoit’s cell phone
“My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane. Fayetteville Georgia. 30215"

Text Message 5 to one co-worker (sent 6/24 at 3:58am)- Nancy Benoit’s cell phone
“My address is 130 Green Meadow Lane. Fayetteville Georgia. 30215”

Throughout the day on Sunday, WWE made numerous attempts to contact Benoit both at home and at local hospitals in the Atlanta area. As of 11:00 p.m., WWE officials were unable to establish contact with Chris Benoit.

At 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 25, WWE officials were notified of the text messages sent to the co-workers the previous day. By 12:45 p.m., WWE had contacted Fayetteville County Sheriff’s office requesting they check on the Benoit family.

Fayetteville County Sheriffs office made contact with WWE at approximately 4:00 p.m. advising that they had entered the house of Chris Benoit and found three deceased bodies • an adult male, adult female and a male child. WWE was told that Benoit’s home was now considered a major crime scene.

The decision to cancel the live event scheduled in Corpus Christi that night was made between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. In keeping with company policy, and with limited knowledge regarding facts of the case, WWE choose to air a memorial dedicated to the career of Chris Benoit. As facts emerged surrounding the case, all tributes to Chris Benoit were removed both on-air and on WWE.com.

What a bastard to kill his child and wife..

That screwed my head around when I heard that he did that.

I thought that he and his family were murdered

That's some fkd up crap.

Where does it say this?

hmm, killed them over two day period. They were not killed violently but rather tied up and strangled, bibles placed near them etc.

it was not done in fits of rage, what would you call it other than calculated murder.

you celebrity supporters are just disgusting.

Not that I'm suggesting you 'support child killers'...but if memory serves, you were particularly hard on Selwood many months ago. Much as we had different views on that mess (mainly due to the colour of the jumpers of those involved I suspect) you do see the hypocrisy here right?

You were hard on Selwood for (at worst) making a disgusting sexual comment about another player's daughter to put him off his game, yet you're prepared to cut Benoit a break because his state of mind may have been messed up? He killed two people...regardless of his state of mind.

By those messages was he looking for someone to stop him or he sent them as he hung himself?

He did it over a period of time indicated he knew exactly what was going on and it wasnt rage.

Cold-hearted-Murder.

Nancy and Daniel. RIP.

Chris, you've just ruined your awesome legacy, burn in hell.

yep sadly that is all there is left to say.

I can't believe this....

he knew exactly what was going on and it wasnt rage.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW HIS STATE OF MIND AT THE TIME!

Theres **apparently** quite a fair chance that this WAS rage... just as theres a chance that it wasn't!

DONT stoop to the level of commenting one way or another about his state of mind, because only ONE PERSON IN THE WORLD knows EXACTLY what his state of mind was at the time... and that mans DEAD

In saying that..Yes, all signs point to murder as you say... and YES he DID ruin one of the greatest legacy's in Wrestling
