Chris Hunt has resigned!

I was so saddened to hear of Chris's departure from the club but am very happy that he is going onto a job with greener pastures for his future welfare.

Chris will be greatly missed and impossible to replace because people like him are hard to find, with such dedication and professionalism for their work.

I have spoken with Chris and wished him all the best and thanked him for his magnificent work over the years, which at many times has been over and above the call of duty. He truly is a gem of a person whose presence at the club will be sadly missed.
Chris will be attending roo games so look out for him and give him a big hello and thanks if you see him at a game.

Best wishes Chris for the future and may your new position be everything and more than you expected.
Your new employers, and new work colleagues are very, very lucky to be getting you as an employee.:thumbsu::) Good luck you deserve the best

There's no way known they could find a better replacement.

Chris Hunt = TOP operater.

Hi All,

Thanks for the kind words. I have resigned as Merchandise Manager at NMFC to move to the role of Corporate Sales Account Manager at Winning Edge, who specialise in trophies - mainly in the horse racing industry.

I have decided to develop my career with my role change and leave on great terms with the club.

I have enjoyed my last 4 years at the club as an employee and having been a NMFC member since 1993 I look forward to watching the team play next year.

I certainly support JB, Euge and the club and I hope for the best success possible for NMFC.

I will still be working at the club until 11/11/11.

Go Roos.

The good old days. The break out year. What is a (non prison related) break out anyway?

Really shocked and disappointed to read this news.

A fantastic bloke, who I agree went way beyond merely doing his job for us all.

Chris good luck mate, you have made a lot of friends, who will not forget. I certainly won't, you have been outstanding in helping me out on a few occasions.

Failed Brad Scotts first test:thumbsdown:

Nah, Chris has been a superstar and is a huge loss to the organisation. Good luck in furthering your career mate. You've epitomised customer service. And been a true Roo to boot.

Hopefully Chris' move to Winning Edge, makers of trophys, is a sign of things to come for NMFC.

I'll definitely be looking out for you at games Chris, and hope to catch up with you at the club before 11/11/11 (a date etched in NMFC history forever henceforth).

In the meantime, to sum up our collective thoughts......

As others have stated already, your new employers are most fortunate to have you arrive Chris.

read the title as re-signed and was really happy, then it sunk in what it really was (im a bit drunk right now).

Really sad about this, dealt with chris at the merchandise stand down in tassie and he was an a1 top bloke, had a really good chat to him.

When I visited melbourne earlier in the year I was looking at the trophy cabinet and went over and had a look at a North jersey in the Rooshop window, Chris came out and asked if I wanted to come in and have a look around (shop wasnt supposed to open for another hour or so) ended with me leaving very happily with a x-blades North shirt.

Stuff like this is why Chris was so good at what he did, he knew how to interact with a customer and how to go that little extra mile.

Really sad to see him go :( best of luck in the future Chris, youve left some big shoes to fill.

Troubling times!:(
Best wishes for the future Chris, thanks for doing a great job at North!

Mmmmmm....... You have to wonder whether Chris would've left if we'd gone to the GC, but no-one wanted to listen and now we pay the price.

Two words for you. Band. Wagoner. ;)

See you in the outer next year. Will you be wearing one of the best hoodies in the world?

In my experience, Mark, it's a nasty rash around the genitalia area that requires expensive cream (errr..... so I'm told).

BTW Congrats Chris on your excellent work, we on BF won't have a bad word said about you (at least, not until 12/11/11, when all bets are off!). Gotta love a loyal North man, best of luck for the future, and please keep on posting!

Very astute call. Disappointed that we were denied the chance to compound his interest by relocating.

Sadly, I think on 11/11/11, we could see his Last Post at 11.

Chris, I would just like to echo the sentiments from the rest of the Board and say thanks for all your help, you are a top bloke and a very committed staff member who always went beyond the call of duty for your customers. And on that note i would like to nominate you for a medal, perhaps other posters could suggest the appropriate one?
