Absolutely, still think his 06 season is one of the better years by a midfielder I have seen.Bloody Goodes stole his 2006 one
It's become fashionable to dislike Judd, I reckon he's still the best player in the competition, if not quite as good as he was at the Eagles.

What a bloody effort by CJ
Like he missed a 7th of the season and still won it hands down, we always said that he'd come out breathing fire after missing the first three rounds, he has now proven he is a super star.
His team mates looked absolutely rapt, and his speech about Jimmy Stynes showed how in perspective he has it all...
If you want a laugh go check out the Collywobbles board, nearly as good as Eddie;s face.

Sorry to intrude on your board but I just wanted to say two things
1. Congrats to Chris Judd, a champion of the game, on and off the field, and thoroughly deserving of the title duel Brownlow Medallist.
2. Thank you to Chris Judd, it was fantastic to see Dick Swan and fat Eddie nearly in tears, and to see the Collywobbles posters on here going mental, well thats priceless

Excellent result for the great man. Would be nice if history repeats itself in reguards to what happened the following year a carlton player won the brownlow.
What was dissapointing was our next best player was Simpson on 9. There's the proof right there that our midfield needs bolstering big time. Obviously there will be natural improvement but snaring a good mid next year would be good. Will be good to see plenty of Carlton players polling votes one day.
It was excellent to see Eddies face. lol. Was good to hear Judd say Swann got him to Carlton. Nice to know by getting Swann we basically pinched Judd from Collingwood!

Don't forget that last year both Murphy & Gibbs polled 15 votes. Murphy's season this year was ruined by his hip injury during the pre-season & in Gibbs' case, it is not unusual to see a 21 year old struggle to back up a good season.
