I've seen just as bad (such as Hunt standing on someone's hand) and nothings been done. It's the AFL's fault for not punishing these kind of 'obscure' acts of violence.

I don't know if he fully intended to rip the guys arms out of its socket....but you can't do what he did. He will be punished though, make no mistake about it.

If we're being objective though, Judd cops a lot of shit from taggers and always has, and occasionally will lose it. The things I've seen taggers do to him is no better than this act.

But when attacking the overall fairness and behavior of a player, surely we have to take human nature into account here. If I poke u in the face over and over you will eventually react, probably with more extreme force than a poke, in order to warn me away from continuing my action. I hate Carlton as much as the next guy, but let's not pretend Judd, as well as many others stars from other teams get smacked behind the play every week. What I'm saying is dog acts from taggers will eventually produce dog acts from those being tagged. It happens all the time. This one was just so stupidly obvious. Cut down behind the play cheap shots and this kind of behavior will decrease. I'm all for physicality, but the things you see happening behind the play these days is f'n disgusting. 30 years ago pests were dealt with very simply...a smack to the face. Players know the likelihood of this happening now is not likely though, so they take advantage of it, and push their 'repelling of players' to the limit.

Hard tackles and bumps are fine. But if you're going to punish dog acts like Judds (and rightfully so), punish the dog acts which happen to him and others behind the play too.

Video evidence? Do you go to live footy games? Go and watch, it's not hard to see.

Ask your ex-tough man Stephen Baker about his behind the play heroics. If it were me I would have broken Baker's arm without a second thought after some of the stuff I saw him to do people he was tagging.

Human nature...fight or flight. Objectivity is all I ask. I punch you in the face, you're either going to run or attack me back. I'm not saying the player Judd did his dog act to was the one who deserved it, but he was clearly pissed off.
